Burke Williams top 3 competitors are Vita Day Spa (Minnesota), Spa Habitat’s (Texas), and Fountains day spa (Virginia).
What sets Burke Williams apart from the competition is that they set the standard for high end spas. Another factor is that there locational factor, since they are only located in California, they are able to set up in neighborhoods of people that can afford to live in those cities. I would say that Burke Williams is the price leader that all other competition follows.
I assume the Burke Williams brand market share is about 30%

Post 5 Target Market
Burke Williams’s day spa is a high end luxury spa. Their target market is for high end customers that can afford that type of luxury for services. Memberships range from $185 to $95 a month (depending on demographic locations like San Francisco, San Jose or Southern California).
Since December 1, 2016, Burke Williams opened Simply Massage in Marina Del Rey, Ca. This was for the target market who wanted to get the experience of the day spa without the financial risk. Membership is $59 a month. Simply Massage is a massage only service that provides you with psychological needs one 60 minute massage a month.

Ive conducted a SWOT Analysis of Burke Williams day spa and this is what ive concluded.
Strengths:
Known as the Original European day spa. They were able to set the standard for others to follow.
Strong Brand with high end world class products like H2V Brand and Eminence.
Weakness:
High end cost for providing health services
Spa might be considered a luxury expense for those that cant afford the spas prices
Opportunities:
In response to the spas that offer lower prices for there service Burke Williams has opened Simply Massage. They offer the experience without all the “bells and whistles” and at a more affordable price than the Burke Williams spa.
Threats:
Other massage places (Massage Envy) that provides lower cost for there spa services.
Neighborhood Mom and Pop massage places that give legit spas a bad name.

I couldn't be happier to promote Burke Williams! The reason that i choose to select Burke Williams spa is that I am a trained Massage Therapist. I am a graduate of American Career College (Anaheim Campus) Class of 2008.
I feel that its important to gain knowledge of all the Day Spas that are out there in Health Industry.With this knowledge, i feel that i will add value as a Massage Therapist.
