PaleyFest Loki !

PaleyFest was great! I didn’t have floor seats but that’s okay because I could still see Tom perfectly fine. We all watched Loki S2 Finale together before Tom, Sophia, Owen, and the producers came out for a panel.

It was so nice to hear Tom’s voice and see him in person. He’s just as great as he is on screen, so kind, intelligent, and compassionate. Sophia was adorable just like always and Owen had everyone laughing anytime he spoke.

The poets were exclusively their authentic selves when hidden from the censorious public eye. Only behind closed doors, in concealed places, and in the dark, could the poets become individuals.

Neil however, took a risk and stepped on stage, with all the lights and eyes on him. He expressed himself to the world.

I wonder if Neil's suicide caused the boys to slip back into the shadows of traditionalism. The boys observed first hand what the reprocussions are if you're a freethinking person in an authoritarian society.
