everything he does pulls me back in, like maybe worshipping him was right, like maybe he was my only reason to live for a reason, like maybe he is something better than everyone else. but i can’t think that, because i know what he is

he’s something living, something real, someone who doesn’t deserve to be treated like a god. he’s human, he’s human he’s human he’s human he’s human he’s human he’s human! and i love that he is, i love that he’s simply himself, i love that no matter how awful i am, how badly i relapse, how jealous i may get, he loves me, and i love him the same.

it’s weird to really say that and realize how true it is, because he does love me, this isn’t an act to protect my feelings or something, he loves me. he loves me like i love him, he sees me for who i am, he doesn’t see my flesh and bones he looks past that and into my soul. he sees in me what i see in him. it’s beautiful. we see beautiful. we make each other so beautiful. without him i’d.. shut up shut up shut up! sorry sorry im okay! just.. trying to keep some thoughts in my head!

but.. that’s the difference between all of you and i, the things he says aren’t why i used to worship him.

sure, i get flustered and my immediate response is to say oh wow about 777 times to myself, then make him a cake, then make dolls out of his hair.. but the reason i worship- USED TO WORSHIP HIM. is because he’s so remarkable. the things he says just remind me of that.

i mean- you’ve all been watching him right? you’ve seen his growth, his change, his flickering light, you’ve seen the sacrifices, the selfless and the selfishness, you’ve seen it all along with me. if he was anyone else, would he have made it this far? no. because if he was someone else, he wouldn’t have made the choices he did, he wouldn’t have tried so hard, he wouldn’t have came back. he would’ve broken his promise, hell, he might not have even made that promise!

but no, Kouki Sawakita did all of that. he did all of this in months. he faced challenges no sane god would give to any normal person! he lived, he grew, he fell, he lost, and he loved. and he still loves. so deeply, so truly, and so imperfectly perfectly.

and so when i see him, pouring his heart out over and over again, for me, for his friends, for god knows who… i can truly and wholeheartedly say, i have never seen someone as utterly remarkable as kouki. and that’s why i love him.
