Hats off to AMC for making Louis such a wonderful character!! They did a really good job with Armand and Daniel too. I don't like book Louis he's a winny pedo plantation owner, but AMC Louis is my favorite character!!!

as much as I love AMC interview with the vampire I deeply hate how they changed Claudia and Lestats' relationship from the book. That man loves his daughter in the book!!! The trial scene from the book and the show are very different. In the book Lestat unable to even move from his chair, but he still begs for his daughter's life. HE LOVES HER. And unlike Louie in the book it's nothing sexual... He's haunted by her death CENTURIES after she dies. He later on in a series tells us that he regrets making her but, not getting to be her father or knowing her. He misses his little girl!!! Claudia is also changed. She kills Lestat but, she doesn't do it because of the same reason she does it in the show. She hates him and kills him because he made her... Louis also helps create her in the book (he being the one to drain her and Lestat being the one to give her his blood) and she hates them both for it. But in the end she still loves both of her parents even when she 'hates' them.(Mainly think this is different from the show because book Lestat is not abusive like he is in the show) Also they are BOTH her parents, not 'Daddy' and 'uncle'!!! I really do love the AMC version and I could go on and on about the difference in relationship from the show to the book.. A lot of things are changed almost to the point that they shouldn't even be compared. I love them both sm thoo!!
