FILM PROJECT: SCENE TWO; THE LOCATION

“BUT FOR NOW… I AM THE WILLING VICTIM OF A CANNIBAL. SHE RIPS OUT MY BONES JUST LIKE IM AN ANIMAL.” - Cannibal; Tally Hall

“So what do I get out of this?”

“What do you mean?” Kyle asked them as he took the duffle bag of expensive camera equipment from Jae.

“I meannn, this seems like a deal for only Ona. And as much as I want that girl to get her grades up…” Jae looked around to see if the said girl was listening, she always had a knack for hearing her name being mentioned.

“Yeah I understand, so how much do you want?” Kyle said with a small chuckle as he pulled out his wallet, the inside had a Polaroid picture of his family.

“Join our podcast.”

“Excuse me?”

“Come onn” Jae lightly punched his shoulder as she went back to crossing their arms. “Join Team Realest.”

“..Team..Realest?”

“Yeah dude! Come on, after tonight, you’re definitely gonna want to join.” Jae teased as the two made it to the front of the car.

“Hmm.. I’ll think about it, I’ll let you know after tonight then.” Kyle opened the passenger door for Jae before he walked around to the drivers seat to get situated.

“Sooo where are we going?” Ona asked from the backseat, she gave a sharp turn in her neck pillow to look at Jae infront of her.

“Do you really need that?”

“Yes, Jae,” Ona scoffs, “I really do need this.”

“Okayy…..”

Stan pipes up, breaking the two’s small argument, “I think we should drive around till we see a place that speaks to us. You know?”

Kyle drums his fingers along the steering wheel, “Okay, that sounds good, but what if we don’t find a place that we like?”

“Then we go further out and away from the city, duh.” Ona says.

Kenny speaks up, voice clearly riddled with sleep, “We don’t have to find a place today either… we have quite a while before we need to turn this project in.”

“Oh my god Kenneth do you ever like to WORK??” Ona asks, mock annoyance in her tone.

“It depends… is the work fun? Or is the work forced upon me by the vicious Gods that roam our skies, seeking havoc and causing pain through out the human population?”

“Dude what the fuck?” Stan looks over at Kenny confused and Kenny just shrugs in return.

Kyle sighs, putting his car in drive, “Let’s go then, no time like the present.”

“…..Can I play music..” Jae asks.

“Huh, oh yeah go ahead.” Kyle responds.

“Sweet, any recs for the time being?”

“Give Me Everything by Pitbull and Ne-yo.” Kenny requests.

“Oh my god.. of course you’d ask for something like that.” Ona rolls her eyes and shakes her head at Kenny’s request.

Stan snickers beside her and Kenny looks at her bewildered, “The fuck does that even mean?”

“You know what it means.”

Jae sighs and queues up the song Kenny wanted, before queuing up a random car ride playlist to have play afterwards.

"Hey, do you guys want to stop at this Mc Donald's up here?" Kyle mumbled, his eyes fixed on the road ahead. His voice was barely audible over the soft hum of the car engine, but everyone heard his question loud and clear.

It had been about two hours since they had set off on their trip, and the sky had gradually grown darker as the October evening set in. The crisp autumn air seeped in through the car windows, making the journey all the more eerie and foreboding.

Ona's ears perked up at the suggestion, and she sat up straight in her seat. "Yes, please!" she exclaimed, feeling relieved at the prospect of stretching her legs and getting some fresh air.

Jae chuckled softly, nodding in agreement. "Sounds good to me," they said, her eyes darting to look at the three in the back to catch a glimpse of Stan’s reaction.

Stan shrugged, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "Sure, why not?" he said, his eyes meeting Ona's briefly before turning back to his game.

“Dont forget to wake Kenny” Kyle reminds the two in the back seat as he pulled into a parking spot.

Ona took off her neck pillow and hits the blonde boy with it repeatedly, “Wake up Kennethhhh!.”

“The full name is insane Di’ona.” Jae smiled before she took off the seatbelt.

Kenny groans, annoyed that he woke up to being hit by the neck pillow and stretches, purposefully covering Ona's face with his hand, "Good morninggg everyone."

"Get. Your. NASTY. hand out of my FACE!" Ona exclaims, roughly grabbing his wrist and pushing Kenny's hand off her face.

Stan can't stop himself from laughing and quickly unbuckles his seatbelt to get out of the car before Ona directs any of her wrath towards him.

Everyone else soon follows and gets out of the car and once everyone is out, the five of them start heading into the McDonald's, Kyle locking the car as they walk across the parking lot.

"Soooo.. where did we end up?" Kenny asks the group, munching on a fry.

"Gross dude, don't eat with your mouth open." Kyle grimaces, disgust clouding his face.

Jae turns on her phone, "Hmm.. According to Apple Maps we are in Woodland Park."

"Oh sick dude, There's an abandoned mill south of us.. if I'm remembering the town right." Kenny grins, shoveling another handful of fries in his mouth.

"Oh my god, you are so gross." Ona frowns.

"Since when did you know of an abandoned mill, Ken?" Stan asks, taking a sip of his drink.

"It's because of Butters, apparently Butters knows a lot about hidden things, abandoned places or whatever. He gave me a list and I've been slowly checking them off as I go explore 'em."

Kyle stares pointedly at Kenny, "And you didn't think to tell us about the list prior to leaving..?"

Kenny shrugs, "I was assuming you guys would've found a place sooner in all honesty. This place I'm referring too is far out and the others that I have been to are too rundown to probably film anything without us potentially.. dying."

Kyle sighs, "We're already this far we might as well stop over and check it out."

Ona steals a nugget from Jae, "HEY-" They start but Ona cuts them off before anything else was said, "How far away is it from here?"

"Jae, can I?" Kenny asks, referring to the Apple Maps she still had pulled up.

"Oh yeah, here." Jae hands their phone to Kenny and he types in the coordinates.

"You memorized the coordinates?" Stan questions.

"Uh.. yeah dude.. I would've just ended up losing the list had I not memorized it."

"If only you put that much effort into memorizing your class lectures.." Kyle shakes his head.

Kenny flips off Kyle, "It's about 35 minutes from us right now," He says, handing the phone back to Jae, "Think we can make it?"

"If we left now, yeah." Kyle responds.

"Good thing it's the weekend then." Jae sighs, the rest of the group murmuring in agreement.

They finish their meal and all head back to the car, driving away and towards the location Kenny had set for them.

"Is.. this the right place?" Stan asks apprehensively, peering out the window and at the mill.

"Is this not a mill?" Jae points out.

"Well yeah, but it looks... I don't know not mill like?"

Kyle parks the car and turns off the car, "Uh? What's the qualifications for 'mill-like'?" Kyle asks, turning around in his seat to stare at Stan.

"What's the qualifications for mill-like, I am Kyle Broflovski and I use big words!" Ona mocks, voice no where near how he speaks.

"That is not at all how I sound like."

"Yeah huh it is."

Kyle groans and turns back around in his seat, opening the car door and getting out.

Kenny whispers to Ona, "He can't handle the truth."

Ona nods her head, "He's got no sense of humor. None at all.. shame."

Everyone else gets out of the car and looks over at the mill, "It looks a lot bigger now that we're really staring at it." Jae concluded, turning on her phone's flashlight to be able to see where they'd be walking.

The rest of the group turns their phone's flashlights on as well, "Yeah.. it looks like it'd be haunted." Ona whispers, chills running through out her body.

Kyle rolls his eyes, "You guys and this whole ghost paranormal schtick. It's not haunted, it's literally just a regular abandoned mill."

"Famous last words Kyle, famous last words." Kenny says, moving past Jae and heading over to the mill.

Stan opens the trunk and grabs the equipment, "Let's just go ahead and check it out, besides if we get no filming done, we might as well figure out where we could start shooting. Or if we even like this place well enough to film."

Kyle runs a hand along his face, "We should also get to Kenny asap.. who knows what he'll end up doing alone."

Kyle and Jae head off next after Kenny, being careful to not stumble or fall along the rocky ground.

Ona turns to look at Stan, "Need any help with any of that then?"

Stan grins, "Nah, just as long as you stay by me and can guide me properly, I think I'll be alright."

The girl stared blankly at him, then gave the smallest smile “Cool..cool, yeah uh okay.”

Snorting, Stan closed the trunk “So are you excited? I know this is your element or.. whatever.”

“Yeah, honestly, I just wanna see you be professional for once” Stan smiled at Ona while she stood back up and put a headlight on his messy hair, she stood back and looked at him in the eyes

“Dude you don't even understand!, it’s been a hot minute since me and Jae investigated something alone without cameras watching you know?”

The boy hummed in agreement as he watched Ona put on the body, camera and headlight “Are you excited? This is your first time right?” She asked squatting down to check the rest of the bag.

“Excited, yes. Nervous? Also yes, who knows what tonight’s all gonna bring us.”

Jae shook their head in annoyance as they walked through the dark, abandoned street. "So, is this the usual for uh...Kenny?" she asked, referring to their now mutual friend's tendency to disappear without any explanation.

"Walking away with no context? Yep," Kyle replied, looking back at Jae.

He couldn't help but feel a sense of unease wash over him as he thought about how they ended up walking through this eerie, desolate area . "We really should've gotten the better flashlights before running off," he added, his voice tinged with regret.

Jae agreed, their eyes fixed on the ground as they carefully navigated the rocky terrain. "Definitely," she said, their voice barely above a whisper. "So, how long have you known Kenny and Stan?" they asked, trying to break the silence that had settled between them.

Kyle sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Our whole lives," he replied, a hint of nostalgia in his voice.

"We used to spend our summers riding bikes and playing video games together. It feels like a lifetime ago now," he added.

Jae listened intently, their heart swelling with emotion at the thought of lifelong friendships. "That sounds amazing,"

Kyle chuckled, the sound echoing through the empty area. "It has its ups and downs, that's for sure," he said, his eyes crinkling at the edges as he smiled.

"But at the end of the day, there's nothing quite like having people in your life who know you inside and out."

The thick, eerie air of the abandoned mill seemed to engulf the duo as they searched for their friend. Suddenly, Kenny's voice shattered the heartfelt moment, causing both of them to jump in surprise.

"You guys! Come look at this!" Kenny's voice called out, but his face was nowhere to be seen.

Jae and Kyle looked at each other in confusion, wondering where Kenny could be hiding. "Kenny?" Jae shouted, hoping for a response.

But there was no answer, only a deafening silence that made the hair on the back of their necks stand on end. "Come look at what? Where are you?" Kyle asked.

Again, there was no reply, and the silence grew even more suffocating. "Kenny, where are you, dude? I don't feel like running around a creepy ass mill," Kyle sighed, his flashlight shaking as he scanned the area for any sign of his friend.

The old mill was silent, dead silent, with no rustling of the trees or sound of the wind. It was just Jae's and Kyle's footsteps crunching on the gravel as they moved forward cautiously.

"This isn't funny anymore, Kenny," Jae spoke up

“What’s not funny anymore?” The words hung in the air as the two turned around to look at the girl who had uttered them. Ona’s face was illuminated by the sudden flash of light on her and Stan’s head, making her features appear eerie and ominous.

“Oh my god Ona, you scared the shit out of us,” Jae exclaimed, placing a hand on her chest. “Why didn’t you tell us you were behind us?” She finished as she reached for the flashlight Stan offered themself and Kyle.

Ona shrugged nonchalantly, exchanging a quick glance with Stan before looking back at Jae. “Have you found a spot to record yet?” she asked, scanning the surroundings of the rundown mill.

“Um…” Jae started, looking at Kyle who, in turn, looked at Jae.

“Um…???” Ona repeated impatiently.

“We were going to… you know, we were trying to catch up to Kenny!” Kyle explained, his voice rising in pitch.

“Yeah…”

“But, you know…” Kyle trailed off, his voice lowered.

“I know what?” Ona asked, her arms crossed in front of her.

“We can’t find Kenny,” Jae said with a heavy sigh, her tone laced with dread.

“What do you mean you can’t find Kenny?” Stan frowns, quickly scanning the area around the group for any sign of Kenny.

“We mean that he’s run off and he isn’t responding to when we call out for him.” Kyle finishes explaining.

Silence befalls the four as Stan and Ona digest the words Kyle and Jae have said, about how Kenny is gone and they haven’t been able to find him. The dust settling around them is illuminated by the flashlights held by the group; the broken tables and chairs, the rundown and rusty machinery, all looking a lot more foreboding as the group stands in complete silence.

Before anyone speaks up next, Kenny’s voice is heard once more in the distance, “Guys? Come on! This way! I found a cool place for us to film!”

The group exchanges glances before heading after Kenny’s voice, “Kenny! Stay there for God’s sake,” Stan calls out.

As the group enters the room Kenny is standing in, they look around in awe at the size of it. From the looks of it, it was probably where most of the bigger machines were, however they have all either been torn down or broken, rusted away in a corner somewhere. High windows near the ceiling on the wall, concrete walls and floor, steel beams surround the ceiling.

Scattered conveyor belts lay broken down in a corner of the room. Some were still up, but disfunctional. Chairs and tables laid flipped over in a heap in a random pile in the room, scattered graffiti laid about covering the walls, but the room itself was relatively untouched and clean, aside from the dust piles and weeds growing in the cracks of the concrete floor.

“Oh woah..” Jae whispers in awe.

Kenny grins, eyes lighting up as he gushes about the room, “I know right? We could so set up here, like this could be our main room, and I’m thinking we could branch out into the other rooms from here, I saw I think… some stairs leading to a managers office towards that end too,” Kenny jabs a thumb behind him, “Isn’t this gonna be sick? I’m so excited for this guys.”

Kyle nods, “I think this room is pretty good! We could check the manager’s room and use that as a place to rest and think up of ideas.”

Stan whistles in agreement as he sets the duffle bag of equipment onto the ground gently, “Nice find Kenny.. next time just wait for the rest of us, yeah?”

Kenny lets out a humorless chuckle, “You got it boss man.”

“Don’t… call me that again..”

Ona puts her hands on her hips, “So let’s started yeah?” She exclaims, ready to get started.

FILM PROJECT; SCENE ONE: The Past

"HELL RAISING, WHEEL CHASING, NEW WORLDLY POSSESSIONS. FLESH MAKING, SPIRIT BREAKING, WHICH ONE WOULD YOU LESSEN?” - PRIDE.; Kendrick Lamar

As the professor droned on and on, Ona couldn't help but feel a sense of boredom creeping up on her. It was dead silent in the lecture hall, save for the sound of the professor's voice that seemed to be taking the life out of her. She tried to focus on the lesson but her mind kept drifting off to the plans she had for the day.

Math had never been her strong suit, which was surprising given how much she struggled with typing out a full sentence correctly to her friends. But today, she couldn't care less about her dismal performance in class. She had bigger things to look forward to, including writing scripts for the podcast and spending the rest of the day sleeping to her heart's content.

As she gazed around the room, she noticed Stan Marsh, her partner in crime (not to jae’s knowledge) , scribbling away in his notebook. The two had become inseparable ever since they discovered they had at least two classes together. She couldn't help but feel a sense of comfort in his presence.

Opposites attract, Stan liked to say to her a lot. Ona couldn't agree more. She liked winter and he liked summer, she was outgoing and he was reserved. But somehow, they just clicked.

Ona closed her eyes for a moment, imagining the sweet sound of silence and the feeling of her soft pillow beneath her head. She couldn't wait for the day to be over so that she could finally indulge in some much-needed rest. But until then, she would have to endure the professor's monotonous voice and try her best not to fall asleep.

"Ona, you're drooling," Stan snickered, his eyes crinkling up with amusement as he watched the drool slowly pool on her desk. Ona quickly lifted her head up, feeling embarrassed as she wiped her mouth with the back of her hand, trying to hide the evidence. "No, I'm not," she retorted, hoping to convince Stan that he was mistaken.

"Yeah, okay," he said, shaking his head as he put his pencil in his pocket. It was technically Ona's pencil, but Stan's favorite excuse was, "You said I could have it."

"I need a favor from you," Stan said, looking directly into Ona's eyes. Ona raised an eyebrow, curious as to what he could possibly want from her. Stan was known for his outlandish requests, but he was also one of her closest friends, so she was always willing to listen to him.

"What kind of favor?" she asked, her curiosity piqued. Stan leaned in closer, “I need your help for film class”

“i have my own project Stan” Ona looked at him confused. “ do you have a partner yet?” The boy said quickly,

“ I was gonna have Jae help me with it or something, she already took the class a while back.”

“ Join my group! I’m sure the guys don’t mind” Stan smiled brightly, Ona took a pause.

She knew the boys, duh she cant be friends with Stanley Marsh and not know about his best friends. It’s basically one of his favorite topics. She had a few interaction with them here and there, a lot of bickering with the blonde one. We’re doing a whole project with them? It was a sick thought to even mention to her.

"Pleaseeee come on, see look, I promise Kenny will pull his weight!" Stan pleaded with the girl, noticing it was taking her quite a while to think about her answer. He had been eagerly waiting for her response and was hoping to hear what he wanted to hear.

Ona looked at Stan skeptically, wondering if he was being truthful. She was well aware of Kenny's lack of interest in academic pursuits and was not sure if he would be able to contribute to the project. Despite her reservations, Ona decided to give Stan the benefit of the doubt and agreed to work with them.

"Okay fine," she finally relented, causing Stan to silently cheer inside. Ona let out a quiet laugh, trying not to draw attention to themselves amidst the other students.

"So, what's the plan?" Ona asked, eager to get started on the project.

Stan hesitated for a moment, unsure if he should reveal their idea. "Well... Kenny was thinking of doing a paranormal investigation," he finally said, leaning back in his chair.

Ona raised an eyebrow, surprised by their choice of topic. "Is that why you wanted me as a partner? Wowwww Stan," she remarked sarcastically, causing Stan to feel a bit embarrassed.

"It's not like you were going to do the project if you were doing it by yourself, come on." Stan huffed, trying to defend himself.

Ona chuckled at Stan's response, finding his defensiveness amusing. "Okay, okay... I'm in. But we need to plan this out carefully and make sure we have all the necessary equipment," she said, taking charge of the situation.

“Which you can thank me and Jae for.”

Stan nodded in agreement, grateful that Ona had agreed to work with them. He knew that with her help, they could make their project a success and possibly even uncover some spooky paranormal activity.

"You're doing what?" Jae asked, pausing from making their sandwich and not really believing all of what Ona started telling them.

Ona sighed out heavily, "Oh..my god. If you let me finish! I was explaining to you that for my film class-"

"Mhm."

"-Stan had asked if I would join his group for that stupid final project.."

"Mhm."

"And they're doing a paranormal film.."

"......right.." Jae looked up at Ona with a raised eyebrow.

"And... I sorta maybe said that we would help..?"

"DI'ONA."

Ona raised her hands in defense, "Look! Before you say ANYMORE.. you agreed to help me!"

Clicking her tongue, Jae looks back down to continue making their sandwich, "Yeah.. I agreed to help you, not three other people, look Ona I have no problem helping you out but, now this is essentially allowing three other people to.. cheat? Or something? Hell I don't know."

Before Ona could say another word, Jae continues, "And? Haven't you talked about this guy’s group of friends before? What was his name..Karl..? Kent? KENNY! Him! Yeah.. you've complained about him to me before about his work ethic."

Ona nods, "Right.. but Stan has assured me that Kenny will work, in fact Kenny is the one that wanted to do a paranormal investigation! So you know he's engaged in this topic!"

"...You already told him that they could use our equipment didn't you?"

"No...?" Ona said, embarrassment and uncertainty in her tone and body language.

"Di'ona."

"Okay," Ona sighs, "I did...and they're coming in about five minutes.. to check it out."

Jae pauses, putting the peanut butter away, "They're what."

A knock is heard on the front door of Jae's and Ona's shared dorm apartment and Jae slowly turns to look at Ona, who is already heading towards the door to let the three boys in. Jae grimaces, cleaning up the rest of their sandwich making ingredients and taking a bite as Ona walks back in, three boys trailing behind her.

"And this is Jae!" Ona introduces.

The three boys awkwardly give a wave and Jae gives one back, munching on their sandwich.

"Jae, meet Stan, Kyle, and Kenny," Ona states, she looks back at her bestfriend with a wide smile.

The boys looked around the apartment, its was nice and modern, with the walls decorated in horror movie posters and pictures of the two girls.

Their attention was quickly drawn to the flatscreen TV that was playing an episode of "Sprite Archives", the show that the duo was a part of. Kyle's face lit up with amusement as he watched himself and his friends on screen.

"Do you two watch your own show?" Kyle questioned as he looked at the TV with an amused smirk.

Jae, who was busy munching on a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, raised her eyebrow in surprise and asked, "you watch our show?"

Ona rolled her eyes and looked at her in disgust, muttering something under her breath about the sandwhich.

"Only when Kenny comes over," Kyle responded with a chuckle as he took his shoes off and placed them on the floor next to Stan’s and headed towards the couch where Stan, Kenny and Ona were already seated.

“Okay so whats the plan?” Jae sighed as they join the group on the couch.

Stan pulls out his laptop and set it ontop on Ona’s feet since they were placed on his lap. “Well we we’re thinking of doing something paranormal! Since the original project is to create a first person film.” Kenny explained.

“Why did you chose that genre?” Jae asked, Ona hummed in a agreement.

“ Because its easy, ghost arent real.” Kyle said as if it was obvious with shrug.

“ Here he goes…” Kenny whispered to Ona.

“You think ghosts…arent real?” Jae crossed her arms.

“I mean…yeah? Nothing paranormal is real.” Kyle stated.

“Huh…okay…” Jae looks at Ona trying to hold back a laugh.

“So anyways! That’s where you guys come in, we’ll make a ghost hunting film!” Kenny smiled, then pointed a hand to Ona, “And of course that include you, for you to also get a grade for the project.”

"And.. you're gonna work, right?" Ona muses.

Kenny rolls his eyes, "Yes I will work."

Ona clasps her hands together, "Perfect! Then I'm on board!"

Jae sits quietly for a moment, "Yeah I suppose this is fine, but if you break any equipment, it's being repaid for."

“YOU CAN SEE THE SUN FAR FROM NEAR. LET ME INTO YOU HEART! OH THIS AINT NO BULLSHIT!” - Me and Your Mama; Childish Gambino

Kyle Broflovski, a sophomore in college, majoring in psychology and minoring in law. He’s Stan’s roommate and unfortunately has to take the same film class as Stan for a general ed credit. He’s contemplative and argumentative, liking to debate things that he knows he has a high chance of winning. Kyle plays on the basketball team and between that and his studies, he often has no chance of doing a lot of extracurricular things, which is why it was such a surprise when he joined ‘The Realest’ Team. Kyle is also another fiercely loyal man, but unlike Stan, he won’t blindly follow others, Kyle often takes time to think things through.

Kyle complements Stan’s pessimism with his realism, Kyle doesn’t tend to believe things blindly or because he was told to, he has to see it for himself. Which is why he’s a non believer in all things paranormal, often butting heads with everyone else during ‘Spirit Archive’. Kyle likes to be ahead of the curve, often researching many things and teaching all about it later on. Kyle is compassionate, apologizing for his faults and his wrongdoings, especially if his actions caused the harm of someone else and he hates lying to people unless it’s for an absolutely good reason.

Kyle likes to do what is right, even if his pride tells him otherwise, he’ll give in and admit anything and everything. Kyle is often the mediator here at ‘The Realest’, being the best person to turn to when something goes haywire and it’s not just because he gives the best advice, but because Kyle is always willing to hear anyone out.

Kyle’s sarcasm is one that doesn’t pop out too often, but sometimes even he can’t help out saying a good jab or two, especially when anything paranormal is involved. Kyle’s rather reserved and even shy at times, so don’t be disappointed if you see Kyle’s hesitancy to speak up during episodes.

Likes: Dr. Pepper, basketball, cool nights, his friends, studying, the show ‘Dexter’, his psychology class, saturdays, mangoes

Dislikes: The paranormal, pudding, bananas, his coach micromanaging his actions, energy drinks, anything to do with sherpa

Stanley ‘Stan’ Marsh, a sophomore in college majoring in broadcasting and minoring in media studies. He’s fiercely loyal and extremely brave, albeit a bit pessimistic. Having gone to college on a sports scholarship for football, he takes pride in his athleticism and his ability to adapt to any situation. A silent listener of ‘The Realest’ Podcast for a while, he came up with the idea of asking them for help on his project with Kenny and Kyle. If you were to ask any of his friends what kind of person Stan Marsh was, they’d all have a range of answers, but the same thing would be said; he’s outspoken and speaks from the heart.

Stan has a tendency to become pessimistic, while it’s not the worst trait to have, it does cause misunderstandings, often of which Stan realizes his mistakes. His pessimism can come in handy sometimes, keeping things a bit more real for the rag tag group. Aside from that, Stan’s loyal to a fault, and will always defend his friends when necessary even if that means playing somewhat dirty. His sensitivity for things and people plays a role in his life, even if he doesn’t notice it, he’ll always try his hardest to make things right for everyone, even if it’s through silent actions rather than words.

Stan knows what it’s like to not be heard, so here on the podcast, he’ll try his hardest to make sure everyone’s points get heard, even if that means he becomes the brunt of every joke. He’ll join in on the jokes, Stan’s never been one to back away from a good laugh, but even he reminds the group to drop the jokes for serious things.

Stan’s bravery is shown throughout many episodes here on ‘The Realest’ and ‘Spirit Archive’ so if you like seeing men act or be tough then maybe Stan is your guy! Stan collects a crowd whenever he’s nearby, whether that be the sports fangirls (and boys!) he’s amassed or the fans who watch ‘The Realest’, he just knows how to keep them entertained.

Likes: Football, his friends, cherries, blue raspberry slushies, ona, bonfires, paranormal things (as long as they DONT happen to him), oversized jackets

Kenneth ‘Kenny’ McCormick, another sophomore in college who majors in sculpture and minors in new age media, is widely known on campus. An extremely popular man, he knows everything about anything and is extremely funny, with a natural penchant for the arts. He’s working on the same project as Stan and Kyle for film and is a longtime listener of ‘The Realest’ podcast. Kenny is a bit of a prankster, focusing on his hardest to scare the others on ‘Spirit Archive’ but his energy brings a fun spark to the podcast. Kenny likes to keep things flowing and often helps make sure conversations are never dull.

Kenny is the optimism that finally completes the two others, always looking towards the bright side of things, even if life knocks him down to his knees. His optimism shines through on the ‘Spirit Archive’, often initiating an argument with Kyle over the concept of the paranormal. Kenny is extremely smart, but that may only be street wise. He knows how to keep someone safe in the most obscure of ways and has the craziest unknown survival tactics stored in his brain. Kenny likes to have fun, even if that means saying the most questionable thing in the room at the moment.

Kenny hates having to prove himself to people, but is extremely defensive for other people. In his mind, people could say whatever they want about him, but when it comes to the people he loves it’s a whole nother story. So we let Kenny (and Ona) deal with any hate comments we receive here at ‘The Realest’, because he knows what to say to hurt someone.

Kenny’s talent for arts is an admirable trait, he often likes connecting things to his random knowledge of the arts, whether that means stating a spirit sighting date to what famous painting was created or telling us the type of material used in certain sculptures seen, Kenny can always manage to keep things interesting with various facts.

Likes: Fruit punch, ceramics, watching various youtubers instead of studying, pineapple, tacos, cargo pants, waterparks

Dislikes: The koolaid man, deadlines for his projects, mornings, dates (the fruit), being told he can’t stay up until 3am

Ona: And I'm Ona!

Jae: And you’re watching The Spirit Archive.

Ona: The Spirit Archive?

Jae: …What?

Ona: The Spirit Archive???

Jae: What the fuck are you talking about now?

Ona: You added “The”.

Jae: Okay??

Ona: It's just Spirit Archive.

Jae: ……

Ona: ….

Jae: ANYWAYS!

Jae: Welcome to the very first episode, this is insane.

Ona: Literally.

Jae: We came so far in the past two in a half years…already have our on TV show.

Ona: It was about time; So Jae Jae on the way way.

Jae: “Jae Jae on the way way”….?

Ona: Explain to the people how this will go!

Jae: Basically you guys send us emails, and we read them, think of our theories, and then investigate the “Haunted” areas.

Ona: Afterwards we come back to the studio, go back over evidence and finally come to our conclusion. You'll see us back here in the studio every so often during the episode giving our opinions on what we thought during the investigation too!

Jae: Sadly, the camera crew cant explore with us.

Ona: I’m gonna miss you Dave…

Jae: So, heres our first letter from… South Park's very own! Ryen Miller!

Jae: Shelly says, “i told craig and kenny about this but they’re being so useless rn so i’m calling the best podcast out there. my friend mimi and i are at the video store i run, hiding behind a shelf of old war movies because there’s an apparition in my stock room. i’m pretty sure it moved to the basement but i’m not sure. advice?”

Ona: That's your fucking fault for not asking the pros first.

Jae: They asked for advice, not for you to start ripping into them.

Ona: They KNEWWW what they we’re doing.

Jae: Oh my goddd, what's your guess Ona?

Ona: To be honestttt, I have no clue, not enough info. What about you Jae Jae on the way way?

Jae: Oh you GOTS to stop.

Jae: My guess is it's a poltergeist spirit.

Ona: Whys that? Those are rare.

Jae: Uh well my guess is that Shelly seems pretty scared, right?

Ona: Okay..

Jae: And it could've knocked things down ya’know? We dont really know how everything first started. we definitely need to ask more details when get there.

Ona: Truuuue, mhhh okay. Well…Are you ready to start? Like this is our first big investigation.

Jae: Ready as I’ll ever be I suppose. Autobots.. roll out.

Ona: Are you dumb..

Ona: Let’s just go.. I can’t stand you right now.

CURRENTLY:

LOCATION: IN FRONT OF THE VIDEO STORE

TIME: 5:15 PM

Standing around the outside of the off brand blockbuster-esque store, Jae can't help but wonder why exactly this is the spot for the first episode. The camera crew that were unable to enter behind them so they didn't get in the way standing around, making sure the equipment was all up and running alright.

"Are you not gonna help me with the equipment? Jae? Hellooooo?" Ona complains, holding a duffle bag of things the duo will need for checking out the store.

"It's not even that heavy," Jae responds, grabbing the bag from Ona's hands, "It literally just holds the stuff we need to put on ourselves."

"Okay.... so hold it while I put it on me first, duh!"

Jae turns to look at the camera that's currently recording with a blank stare, but looks back at Ona as she connects the equipment to her, holding a spirit box in one hand and a FLIR digital thermometer in another. She waves at the camera connected to the vest Ona's wearing.

"I look hot as fuck don't I? Don't answer I already know, your turn!" Ona giggles.

Jae puts their own stuff on them and checks their laptop feed to make sure it's working, when everything is set Jae slings a backpack containing other important equipment on their back, picking up an EMF recorder, she turns to Ona, "Ready?"

Ona shakes her head, "No. Is it too late to back out of this? Like what if we... die? Bro I don't know about this."

Jae blinks, once, twice, and a third time, "Girl if you don't get your ass in there."

"Why me first? Do you have some death wish against me?"

"Absolutely. No! Bitch, if I go first you'd probably leave me alone with this spirit to go get McDonalds!" Jae scoffs.

"Oooohh.. I could so go for McDonald's right now actual-"

"GET YOUR ASS IN THERE."

"You got it!" Ona jumps and speed walks into the store with Jae following closely behind her.

CURRENTLY:

LOCATION: IN THE STUDIO

TIME: 7:35 PM

Ona: You are so mean to me.

Jae: YOU THREW THIS RUBBER DUCK PENCIL AT ME FOUR SECONDS AGO.

Ona: Why can't we be friends...

CURRENTLY:

LOCATION: INSIDE THE VIDEO STORE

TIME: 5:25 PM

"Oh shellyyyyy," Ona sings.

Jae lightly hits the side of her shoulder, "You're probably more scary than the spirit right now."

"We're here!" The duo heard a voice speak up in the back, cautiously walking towards the back, they find themselves staring at Shelly who are huddled in a corner the 'War' movies section.

"Uh... Have you two been here this entire time?" Jae asks

Shelly nods, "Yes! I keep hearing crashing noises in the basement! At first it used to just be the in the stock room but awhile ago it moved to the basement." Shelly explains.

Ona glancing around the room, her eyes shifting the rather dark store, "And you two just sat? In the dark?"

Shelly pipes up, tone shaking, "We think it broke the fuse box! The lights went out like ten minutes ago.. I think."

"Just our luck.." Ona sighs.

"Any other information you can lend us?"

Shelly thinks for a moment, "No.. it's just been throwing things around quite often.. if you wanted I'm sure you could check the stock room and see the absolute mess in there."

CURRENTLY:

LOCATION: IN THE STUDIO

TIME: 7:42 PM

Ona: And this is where you confirmed in your head that it was a poltergeist?

Jae: Well, not necessarily, a lot of spirits interact with their environment and often or not manage to throw something around a few times. The distinguishing factor is how many items they throw or how often they mess with the environment around them. They almost always solely mess around with things and they can be dangerous, especially if the items they're throwing around are, but they are more like a nuisance.

Ona: Like a baby!

Jae: Sure, Ona.... like a baby..

CURRENTLY:

LOCATION: INSIDE THE VIDEO STORE ; BASEMENT (FIRST ROOM)

TIME: 5:39 PM

Shelly groans holding a camcorder and now equipped with some basic equipment, "How did you get me to agree to do this for you guys again?"

"You agreed to a deal of a 30 year supply of monster, five cents an hour, and early access to merch. Don't come for me here." Jae shrugs.

"Right but like I work here so shouldn't I get to be let FREE? Away from this place and outside in the parking lot? I don't know.. how about not record an episode for you guys?"

Ona rolls her eyes, "Bro, shut up. You're being paid what else do you WANT? You know what? Let me play you a tune on the world's smallest violin."

Ona starts rubbing her thumb and index together, humming a high pitched tune.

"Oh my god get out of my face, Ona." Shelly grumbles.

Before anyone could do anymore talking Jae abruptly stops walking, Ona nearly stumbling into her, "Dude what are you doi-"

"Sh."

Shelly and Ona still.

The basement is quiet and there are no sounds, it's scary and dark and you could probably hear the dust settling around you if it wasn't for the fact Shelly then sneezed extremely loudly.

"Bless you." Jae utters quickly, still scanning the rooms in the basement.

CURRENTLY:

LOCATION: IN THE STUDIO

TIME: 7:51 PM

Ona: Shelly sneezing pissed me off.

Jae: Does anything like.. not piss you off?

Ona: Stan Marsh.

Ona: Anyways, what do we know about the video store?

Jae: Well it says it was built in 1952 by Mr and Mrs. Boldswell and it was their pride and joy, it was eventually passed down to their son Harry Boldswell before being renovated by him and sold to a Calvin Checker.

Ona: Can't trust bitches who have the same initial for their first and last name..

Jae: .....

Ona: Would you QUIT with that blank stare at the camera I know you use it to make fun of me.

Jae: Anyhow, Calvin Checker accidentally had three employees killed in the mid 90s when a fire broke out in the room now known as the electricity room located in the basement. It sat vacant after the incident and then another renovation in the late 2000s came after another change of owner, this time to Harry's daughter Lyra owns it, and has been a staple in South Park ever since.

Ona: Any hauntings reported?

Jae: Yeah once, in 2014 a couple who were passing through reported to the manager on duty at the time that there was weird noises coming from the basement and that in the 'Comedy' section a few discs fell onto the ground.

Ona: So why are we going here again..? Like I don't wanna be anywhere near this place.

Jae: Because we got asked to? Ona, do your job oh my god.

CURRENTLY:

LOCATION: INSIDE THE VIDEO STORE (BOILER ROOM)

TIME: 5:46 PM

Ona was scared shitless, she was checking out the boiler room all by herself and was nervous for anything to pop out, per Jae's words, the spirit box was a way for communication with the poltergeist to happen. So here she was, asking questions with a camcorder propped behind her surveilling the room, to essentially... an empty room.

Gulping nervously, she asks "Is there anyone that wishes to talk?"

The spirit box ticks away before a random "no" is heard, and Ona frantically looks around the room.

"So..you don't want to talk?"

"Hi."

"Girl make up your mind the fuck? Okay.. if you want to talk.. uhhhm say my name?"

"Yasmine"

Ona scoffs, "Girl I said MY name not yours this is MY show."

"..na"

"I'm sorry what was that?"

"Ona."

"Nuh uh, I'm out this bitch." Ona turns the spirit box off, grabs the camcorder and runs out the room.

CURRENTLY:

LOCATION: INSIDE THE VIDEO STORE (STORAGE CLOSET)

TIME: 5:46 PM

Shelly was upset, not only did these two ditch them, but the two also made them do his OWN segment for their OWN show. This was not worth the deal that she made with Jae. Not at all.

Shelly sets the journal Jae gave them onto the ground with a pen beside it and sat there.

"I'm not talking to this thing, it can kiss my ass." Shelly thought, sitting on a chair, camcorder in hand.

Shelly looked around the storage room, it was rather big and hadn't been used recently, gathering from all the dust that lingered. The upstairs storage room was used a lot more often, as it was even bigger considering it used to be the manager's office before sales dwindled and now the manager's office was downsized to a different room.

Shelly thought about dozing off, but quickly shook that idea out of his head when she realized just where he currently was.

'Scratch'

Shelly abruptly sat up, trying to determine the noise they heard.

'Scratch, scratch, scratch, SCRATCH, SCRATCH, SCRATCH'

Shelly stood up and looked around the room before remembering about the empty journal and picks it up, shock evident all over their face when he reads what was on there.

'It hurts' and a bunch of scribbles all over marked the pages. Shelly didn't need to be told twice about anything and immediately ran out the room.

CURRENTLY:

LOCATION: INSIDE THE VIDEO STORE (ELECTRICITY CLOSET)

TIME: 5:46 PM

Jae hums as she sets up the cameras around the room. Once the final camera was set she took a look at the set up she had; a few various non life threatening items were scattered about, such as a small pillow, a plastic cup, a tissue box, and an empty Pringles can.

Jae stood in the corner of the room and started calling out, "Oh ghosttttt... are you in here..?"

They could hear running, presumably from Ona and or Shelly, and sighed.

Jae waited a few more minutes in the dark before sighing and moving to start taking down cameras. When they got to the last one, the empty pringles can rolled onto the ground from where it was set, causing her to jump.

They look over their should to glance at the pringle can and just shake their head before turning back to removing the camera. The tissue box then is flung to the side of the wall near Jae's head and they pause taking in account of what just happened.

"Oh." Jae murmurs, "Well that was a dick move."

Jae collects the camera and grabs the items, being careful to not be hit by any of them, but fails because once she turned to grab the pillow, it was picked up by the spirit and flung at their head. Once it hits them on the top of their head, they pause and leave the room rather awkwardly.

"This ghost is a dick." Jae states, heading up the stairs.

CURRENTLY:

LOCATION: IN THE STUDIO

TIME: 8:03 PM

Ona: I'm sorry you called the spirit a dick?

Jae: Well it was... bro did not need to throw the pillow at my head.

Ona: Oh girl you are just asking to be killed by this thing.

Jae: We stream anyways, we don't need to be going there ever again.

Ona: Can't poltergeists like... I don't know.. attach to someone?

Jae: If they can then you should so hit up Di'ona [BLEEP] in South Park, Colorado, she lives i-

Ona: CAN YOU QUIT THAT!!!! I don't need a ghost haunting ME, besides if a spirit is haunting me it's haunting you too idiot.

Jae: What if I want the ghost to haunt me? Wouldn't that be sick? A little spirit buddy.

Ona: NOT A PISSED OFF SPIRIT. Are you dumb?
