I’ll admit I’m not a big eater. I move a lot and when I work.. I work. Sometimes I forget to use the bathroom when I’m working. So, The first thing I know I needed was a lot of healthy fat and calories. And a quick way to consume them. A shake!
I found this recipe online. (I’m going to look more into this #NoMeatAthlete) As I read the ingredients, it just made a lot of sense. So I personalized it a bit and this is the shake I’ll be drinking for the next 30 days.
Here is his recipe:
12 ounces raw, homemade almond milk 2-3 tablespoons raw, homemade almond butter 1 tablespoon ground flax seed 1 tablespoon coconut oil 1 tablespoon flax seed oil 2 tablespoons chia seeds 2 scoops soy-free veggie protein powder (about 22 grams of protein) 1 teaspoon maca powder 1 banana 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 teaspoon wheat grass powder, just to be a granola-crunching hippie badass
Here is mine:
½ cup cubed Papaya ½ cup Cubed Pineapple 12 ounces unsweetened coconut milk 1 tablespoon ground flax seed 2 tablespoon coconut oil 2 tablespoons chia seeds 2 scoops soy-free veggie protein powder (about 22 grams of protein) 1 teaspoon maca powder 1 banana 1 teaspoon agave 1 banana 1 tablespoon olive oil
Don't forget some ice!

Skinny Girl Gone Vegan.
I’m not so good at these introduction things but i felt the need to speak a little about my history. Simply put, at this point in my life, I am a 31 year old woman on the path to finding herself. Her true self. And after a long 10 year journey I finally realized the first step was the food. So I changed my diet. I was what people call a “Meat-atarian”. I looooved meat! I craved it! As a child I would get numerous meat and cheese platters for both Birthdays and Christmas. Everyone knew i loved meat and cheese. I knew I loved it! lol And that didn't change until I was 29.
At 18 I was diagnosed with General anxiety Disorder, which quickly progressed into a depression that lasted for about 8 years. I was functional but depressed. Floating through life was no way to live. So I started looking deeper for answers. Which led me through religions such as Buddhism, Islam, and then into The religion of Yoruba. Which somehow in this crazy internet world led me to Dr. Sebi. And that! Right there was all I needed to change my diet. I immediately stopped eating Red meat and pork. It was hard and I definitely had some weak moments but, after a while my body just didn't want it anymore. i was only eating Organic chicken and turkey. Then I fasted and detoxed. AFTER THAT! I couldn't eat any meat. I couldn't even smell it.
Now 3 years later, I am completely meat free! No pork, beef, chicken, or turkey. I am now pescatarian, which I consider a big step from where i started. The goal is to be a complete Raw Vegan.
Easier said than done. Becoming a Vegan first off is NOT only about food. it is about caring and considering the other life on this earth besides humans. Hopefully one da the roles don't reverse and someone comes and takes your children to make a pair of boots. Second off, no one ever tells you becoming a vegan is like being reborn and you're the newborn baby that you have to take care of, figure out, nurture etc. Its exhausting! But its worth it. After changing my diet I lost a lot of weight and I wasn't bigger than a snicker to begin with. lol I started looking for information on how to gain weight (and curves) on a vegetarian/vegan diet and it was hard finding info! So Ive decided to start this blog to help women who might be going through the same thing.
So my goal as of now is to gain 38lbs of pure pescatarian/vegetarin/vegan weight! lol I’ll be eating fish and dairy less and less and this process continues. I’ll be uploading all of the information I find, links, videos, workouts, recipes, and my progress as well. I gave myself 3 months for this first trial. lets see how this goes!
