I just stumbled accross this from a reblog when I accidentally opened Tumblr on my phone, and I'm glad I did. I've been on a horrible mine cart ride with my mental health for so long, and I've been dealing with it primarily by myself. I would have mental break downs at home, work, and even hanging with friends and I would excuse myself and suffer alone. I honestly still do myself. I question myself every day about who I am, what I'm meant to do, and many other questions I don't know the answer to. Just recently did I finally find my calling, I want to become an auto mechanic. I didn't discover this until I was promoted to mechanic at a family fun center I work at. Granted these are electric go karts, but I love taking something that's broken apart, fixing it, and putting it back together. And in the process getting incredibly dirty. And when an issue proves to be a difficult one, I take the time to think and solve the problem. But, I still have problems being... Truely happy and not afraid to face the future... Face what I don't know... In a way, this string of posts from @silkirose has eased my anxiety and stress for the unknown and to focus on the me that's right here, right now. This is difficult to write while fighting my tears, but this has really hit me right in the heart and feel I can see a bit more color in the world now that I know where I need to focus my energy. I'm glad I came across this by chance, thank you silkirose for sharing your story.

I was humiliated to the point where I was put on fucking medication that I didn't fucking need. And because the education system doesn't change how they teach kids, I didn't learn what I actually needed to learn in this day and age. My district didn't do horrible punishment, but it has been shelling out money for random things every year... I wish the education system catered to the actual needs of students like me who don't go to college, when they graduate they're aren't like "Finally done high school... Now what?"

Someone Should Talk To This Principal
