Important Note

When I first started this roleplay, I had high hopes and would've thought that everything would be done by the time of February. It’s not fair to keep everyone waiting and constantly changing deadlines. Not fair on the admins, nor interested players. I’ve been getting hate, which I will not tolerate and want everyone who has been sending hateful messages should just unfollow because I don’t want those types of players in my roleplay. 

Real life will always be a priority and multiple things have come up including finals, death of a friend and multiple hospital trips and those are more important than a project I would liked to have up and running by now. This is my giving a well-deserved explanation and on the subject of the future of the Rise and Fall, I’ve been thinking it over and have decided to go with it. However, noticeable changes will be made over the next week and after that, I can promise you that you’ll see this project where it deserves. Thanks for all the interest.<3

Meet the lovely Aaron Grey, the 27 year old bodyguard  who is loyal to the Verga family. In the times of the gods and goddesses, he was the mighty Achilles who was the hero of the trojan war.

THE CLASSIC BACKSTORY

Everyone is born with an element rammed into their souls. Some hold the gift of water, a steady, elegant element for the calm and wise, Others may hold Earth or Air, rough elements in their own right, characterized by creativity or independence, all redeeming qualities one can find in a man. But for breed such as Aaron Grey, it has always been the bearing of flame, a fire that has never ceased to make it self be known amongst his surroundings.  Aaron’s household had always been mundane. There was nothing particularly exciting about Chicago, despite the attention it held in other parts of the world. Maybe that was just how it was when you came from a middle-class family and parents who knew nothing other than work. Aaron was prideful, arrogant and he didn’t have a care for anything in the world. Most days were filled with going out around town and causing as much trouble as possible with best friend Peter. Whether it be a cry for attention, or simply his boredom, his attitude was noticed upon the brink of his suspension. Military Academy in Buffalo, New York became his new home, where he was trained hard and fully expected to break. Aaron succeeded well in the military academy, more than he ever thought himself to. A top contender, finishing every drill first and showing no weakness. However, his arrogance led to his downfall, and he was knocked down in second ranking after getting beat by a man named Henry. He fought hard. He fought aggressively, trying to regain his top spot, and eventually regained it back. When Aaron graduated from the military academy, he was disciplined, strong, and unbreakable. He still had pride, but it had since deflated during his time, sprouting into slow maturity.

After graduating, he moved to Manhattan in search for a job. Despite his drill instructors highly encouraging him to do so, going so far as to set him up personally in a unit, he went against enlisting. After some time, He  landed a job as a bouncer at a luxurious club, knocking out drunk perverts who went too far and shutting down fights before they even began. He was good at his job, and that was one quality he carries with him to this day. Passion. It’s all or nothing with him. Jason Verga was the one to see that and admired his strength. He needed a guard like that, loyal to his job and willing to get his hands dirty if necessary. An offer was extended as a bodyguard, and because the pay was good and it was much better than the pride-killing bouncing he did before, he accepted. Aaron excelled, moving up the ranks until he became one of Jason’s personal guard, and hunter. Two years have passed, and Aaron has found a sense of comfort and home among the Vergas who are mostly all kind to him. Jason sends out Aaron when he needs to clean things up, or to keep things in line in the streets and in return allows him family status.

They call him “The Enforcer”, and that is a nickname well earned. He follows orders and will keep people obedient by any means necessary. Getting his hands dirty comes along with the job as it is deemed necessary to keep the Vergas well protected. Once upon a time, violence revolted him, but now, it has become a robotic system. One thing to know about Aaron is that he never leaves a job unfinished. He is a professional, and never leaves a mess. Some would say that he is incapable of feeling anything, but that is a lie. Aaron is just good at hiding his feelings, something that can either damn him or prove beneficial in this job.

IT’S ALL ABOUT WHO YOU KNOW

The boss. Aaron is loyal to Jason Verga and his family, and does anything that is ordered of him, excelling greatly. Whether it’s accompanying the Mrs. as she’s shopping, or taking out a threat in the Underworld of the city. Every once in awhile he has a conversation or two, but Aaron mostly follows orders. The man is nice for the most part but he knows there’s fishy things going on in that family.

She’s an evil woman, that’s one thing he knows for sure. Yet they’re close friends. Maria Bellard has much in common with Aaaron; they both don’t mind getting their hands dirty and are both scraped rough around the edges. He's been helping her out in the midst of a nasty divorce but he’s blissfully unaware that he may just end up helping her in more dark ways.

His best friend since childhood. While at first he and Peter Hamilton were partner in crimes (whose crimes varied from vandalism to theft), military academy straightened both of them out, for the most part. Realizing that Pete needed to watch out for the younger boy and be a good role model for him, Aaron kept him out of trouble, and steered him out of his path to destruction. They’re very close and perhaps the only person Aaron can let his guard down to.

Your faq says no second characters but your admin plays two characters how is that fair?? Isn't it double standards??

Oh, I am sorry if there was a misunderstanding! I made a mistake in the last ask. There are two admins, AdminOlympus, and myself (AdminB). AdminOlympus will be playing Aphrodite, and I will be playing Amphitrite. We each play one character. So sorry for any misunderstandings! -AdminB

EDIT: 

I am actually playing two characters, yes. Artemis and Aphrodite will be taken by me. The FAQ was before updating, and the rules have been changed that secondary characters are allowed if admins deem fit (activity, time)

I will have to speak to AdminOlympus on an exact date, but we only have 3 more bios to write and have 3 to edit in the drafts before the first batch is done. We hope to have the first batch done sometime this month, and can start accepting applications and open the rp. We are so sorry to keep you guys waiting! We both are excited to open too, there's just been many setbacks. However, we are working through them and hope you guys will apply! -AdminB

I would absolutely love to see the Moirai! Particularly Atropos would be cool.

I’m so happy you mentioned them, because I was seriously hitting myself on the head for not thinking of them earlier. I’ve got plans to include them in a very unique way and they’ll definitely add lots of drama to the tension between the three families! Thanks for your suggestion.
