Half-Elf! Lore Bard! Logan Design from my rpg-themed au, maybe soon to be ask blog idk if that or just a comic/story https://donttellthemangosiwashere.tumblr.com/post/187638435048/sanders-sides-rpg-au He is a Bard of the College of Lore, meaning he studies the sciences, histories, legends, and magics of our world, and inspires others by transferring that knowledge. Usually this is done through song, but Logan’s eloquent speaking voice is inspiring without a lilting tune (he will still occasionally sing or even rap, but almost no one has ever seen him do it). He uses this knowledge and inspiration-based power to cheer on and advise more active allies from the sidelines, keeping their performance optimal while he slings a few spells of his own to help. As a Half-Elf, he he gains the weaknesses and strengths of both cultures and bloodlines: He has the elven extended life and proclivity for magic from his Moon Elf father, but also his detachment to human emotion and arrogance. He has the human ingenuity and curiosity from his mother, but also her frailer disposition and explosive temper. A human mother’s rich, dark skin and elven father’s silver hair that glistens in the moonlight – He is doomed to live as an outsider on both fronts, never really accepted by either race, but that doesn’t bother him much. Anyone who still cares about stuff like that isn’t worth being friends with, anyway. He is the apprentice of Talyn, Lord Thomas’s Loremaster, close friend, and adviser. After exhausting the contents of every book in the library three times over, his Teacher insisted he embark off on a quest like Talyn, Thomas, and their friends did years ago, to expand his worldly knowledge and his wisdom. Their instructions for his quest was vague – save a town, learn a secret, etc – but Logan accepted his challenge nonetheless, embarking on his ‘epic quest’ and gathering friends and allies on the way… More detailed character ref for him later, and i’ll draw the others as well, hopefully soon!
