Kedma Cosmetics Milk Cleanser: A Godsend for Dry, Sensitive Skin
It's bad enough to have dry skin, but for it to be sensitive as well can take a toll on anyone. You don't know what to address first. The tightness? The flakiness? Sometimes you end up wishing for a reptilian superpower that would allow you to shed your skin and grant you relief.
I speak from experience: I've had both skin types since my early teens. At first, I thought that the irritation and flaking were a natural part of puberty. I hoped they would eventually pass. That didn't happen, to my dismay. I had gotten better and smarter at preventing breakouts now that I'm 34, but there are still days when I feel like I need something more — no, something better — than my usual routine and skincare products.
Not Easy Problems to Solve
It's funny that many people think all I need to do is lather on a ridiculous amount of hydrating lotion, and that should solve my problem. Unfortunately, they always forget the "sensitive" part of my situation: my skin is annoyingly picky — and vindictive. I need to choose the products I apply very carefully, or else I will suffer minutes, hours, or even days after.
Case in point: I tried a popular facial moisturizer by a brand that's famous as the go-to products for people with sensitive skin.
It was fine at the beginning: the scent was just right, the product felt light on my skin, and I didn't get that sticky, greasy feeling that usually results after sweating. About two weeks in, however, the tightness and dryness on my forehead and cheeks returned. The moisturizer just suddenly stopped working for me.
After this letdown, I resolved to find a product that could improve my skin and keep doing so for as long as I used it. It was around this time that a trusted friend recommended Kedma Cosmetics to me, specifically their Milk Cleanser.
Milk Cleanser with Dead Sea Minerals by Kedma Cosmetics
I already heard of Kedma previously, but I knew it mainly as a brand that offered various skincare products infused with Dead Sea minerals. I didn't look deeper into this brand because I was focused on products that had "hypoallergenic" and "intense moisturizing" on their labels. So, I was surprised to discover that they had a "gentle" Milk Cleanser for dry skin.
You might be wondering why I got a cleanser instead of a moisturizing lotion. Quite simply, this was the product my friend recommended. I also thought, why not: cleansing is the first step of any skincare regimen. If I find the right product, it will be easier for me to do the remainder of my routine.
The Routine
During the first week, I followed the instructions on how to apply the cleanser: apply the product directly on my face and neck and gently massage with the fingertips. I did it to allow the product to wash off makeup, dirt, excess oil, and sweat. I wiped the residue with a cotton pad.
I did worry that my skin would break out because the instructions said nothing about washing it off with water. I learned later that this was to allow the skin to absorb the Dead Sea minerals and nourishing, natural plant extracts in the Milk Cleanser.
Fast forward to the seventh day, and I couldn't be happier with the results. My face felt clean and refreshed afterward. It didn't feel dry, nor did it get greasy a few hours after (NOTE: I didn't apply any other product after cleansing to observe how my skin reacted to Kedma Milk Cleanser better).
My Verdict
It has been three weeks since I first started using Kedma's Milk Cleanser, and I still love it. I haven't had a breakout, and not once did I feel my face sting. It feels like I hit the jackpot with this cleanser!
I'm now considering adding the Intensive Night Cream to my routine. Given how well my skin reacted to the cleanser, I'm optimistic that it will also agree with Kedma's moisturizer.
I highly recommend Kedma Cosmetics' Milk Cleanser to anyone with dry and sensitive skin. It's a great first step for a nightly routine as it can remove the day's grime without causing irritation, tightness, or pain.

I Just Tried Origani's Erda Manuka Honey Peel: Here Are My Thoughts
Part of my regular skincare routine is to get rid of the dead skin cells on the face, neck, and other parts of the body. If I fail to exfoliate property, these cells will build up and make my skin appear uneven and dull. Plus, they may clog my pores and cause breakouts, which is the last thing I want to happen.
When I ran out of my favorite brand of skincare product because it was no longer available in stores, I decided to look for a new product that I can include in my skincare regimen. After Googling hundreds of brands, I came across one that looked to be promising. It was a gentle exfoliator from Origani Philippines. The name of the product, for your reference, is Erda Manuka Honey Peel.
What’s This Product About?
As mentioned in the name, the Origami Product contains Manuka Honey, a kind of honey that you can find in New Zealand. What sets this apart from your typical, run-of-the-mill honey is that Manuka Honey has antioxidant and antibacterial properties. This wonderful ingredient eliminates the impurities and dead cells to reveal clean and beautiful skin.
Besides the main ingredient, Erda Manuka Honey Peel has other key ingredients like Lotus Flower Extract and Aloe Vera. The product, according to the Origani website, promises to soften the skin and reduce unsightly fine lines.
Is the Product Any Good? It’s a Yes for Me
First off, I found the Erda Manuka Honey Peel easy to use. After cleansing my skin and patting it dry, I applied the product on my face. When I rubbed the product on the skin, I saw the dead skin cell accumulating. Admittedly, it felt yucky but I knew deep down that the product was doing its job properly.
After about ten seconds, I used water to rinse off the dead skin. I wasn’t expecting anything immediate to happen to my face, but I did notice that my face and neck appeared slightly more radiant. It looks like the product did what it was supposed to do — exfoliate my skin.
If there’s one minor issue I have with the product, it’s the smell. I’m not allergic to honey, but some skincare users might find the fragrance to be a bit much. Other than that, I don’t really see any other problems with Origani’s Erda Manuka Honey Peel.
Exfoliation Tips
No matter how awesome the product is, I believe that you won’t achieve the results you want for your skin if you don’t exfoliate properly. If you’re going to use the Erda Manuka Honey Peel regularly (or any related skincare product), I suggest following these simple but effective suggestions:
Wash off your skin using lukewarm water.
Avoid exfoliating your skin when you have a wound or a cut. Let that area of your skin heal first.
Use a moisturizer after exfoliating. This process can dry your skin. By using a moisturizer, you can keep your skin hydrated.
Final Verdict on the Erda Manuka Honey Peel
After assessing the product, I’d give it 4.5 stars out of 5. While the smell of the honey can be strong, the effectiveness of the Erda Manuka Honey Peel exceeded my expectations and made the product worth buying.
What are you waiting for? Get this product and add it to your daily skin regimen.
