I don’t think Merold is like secretly evil, I think he just knows what he’s doing and knows more about seeds than everyone else , Roma probably knows just about the same as him as well but hasn’t said anything yet. Merold said it himself , he's protecting himself and his kingdom with lies ... and since he is likely very familiar with the seeds as an older knight , he likely knows how they appear etc.

Ok now to get to the main point, do you guys know about Sanrio’s lore ? Like as a company.

So basically strawberries are what Sanrio uses as a symbol, the "beginning" of Sanrio as it was their first ever original design that got them off the ground (not to b mistaken with Coro-chan , who is their first original character), but the strawberry designs live on through The Strawberry Magazine (いちご新聞) and most importantly, the Strawberry King (いちごの王さま).

I have a theory that the seeds are coming from the strawberry king (or mayb his fragaria(s), if he has one) mayb he’s going through something which is causing seeds to b able to appear , and average person/collective’s negative emotions causing them to pop up and basically destroy the world. And so "fragarians" are people given/have the power at the same or similar to the Strawberry King to at least defeat these seeds... Perhaps Strawberry King is some sort of deity in the fragmem world who knows ....

TLDR I think the strawberry king is behind this stop blaming merold bye
