World-Class Sales Recruiters For Your Businesses Benefits
Tumblr media
Being a sales recruiter isn’t always easy, but it can be a really fulfilling type of work. They’re the type of people who help companies and different businesses during their toughest times, and even the simplest of times.
Hiring people isn’t always a fun task, but having a sales and marketing recruiter from agencies like The Search Experience, takes the edge off and makes it enjoyable again.
You’re able to focus on more pressing matters in your company, while they handle some management tasks like hiring new interns and employees.
What Is A Sales Recruiter?
If you’re having trouble hiring people for a current, or newly created, job position, then thinking about getting a sales recruiter is the best bet for you. Sales recruiters are a type of specialists in their field of hiring and helping businesses achieve their goals.
Creating job descriptions for job titles and matching them with candidates is a great example of the type of work that sales recruiters do. With their help, you can advertise positions easier, and have an overall better screening process when scheduling and conducting interviews.
The heavy lifting is taken care of when organizing career days and meetings for potential hires. Relying on them to be organized and ensure everything is in order is a key point in their job description, so rest assured all will be handled efficiently and accordingly.
How Does A Sales Recruiter Get Paid?
When you’re wanting to hire a sales recruiter, your first thought is probably how much it is going to be to hire one, right? Well lucky for you, the answers aren’t that far away, and prices are actually pretty reasonable for the type of field they are in.
You’re often given a choice between a recruitment fee or a placement fee, often as a cheque or electronic transfer. Companies and businesses generally go either for this one, as it depends on how long they’ll have the recruiter, and what kind of work they want to promote.
Contingency, containers, and retainers are the main ways that recruiters receive payments from clients and companies. Contingency is paid after the main work is done, retainers are paid upfront, and containers are a bit of a mix, but generally are paid half in advance and the other half later when the job is completed correctly.
There isn’t a specific percentage per se as to how much sales recruiters receive from their prices, as it is usually up to preference, and the recruiter themself.
Why Should I Hire A Sales Recruiter?
Sales recruiters are one of the most beneficial people to have when you’re running a company. Employment is hard, and recruiters have not only expertise in the area but connections and links to other corporations and people that might be interested in the line of work that you’re trying to promote.
Sales recruiters have experience and high-valued job descriptions, where they’re able to make efficient and high-standing work for your company. They generally have a passion for the industry itself, and succeeding through them is as easy as pie.
While you’re able to focus on other parts of the business and have more time to yourself, sales recruiters take on the rest of the work for you, hiring employees at faster and more effective rates. You can be assured that only the best will be accepted and ultimately approved by recruiters for your company.
Final Thoughts
When you have a sales recruiter in your company’s team, finding adequate better-qualified people to hire becomes increasingly more accessible. They follow your rules and regulations when it comes to employment and always put your company’s best interest first.
Sales recruiters, like from The Search Experience, take the edge off employment, so you can focus on more pressing matters within your company, and ultimately have more time to yourself.

Top Meeting Venues in San Francisco (With a View)
If you’re anything like me, picking a venue for any type of event or meeting can be a frustrating task; the ambiance has to be right, the food good, great coffee/cocktails, not too busy… not too quiet!
I’m also a sucker for a rooftop, a view and a cocktail. With the SF Indian summer upon us, I have compiled a list of my top client entertainment spots (with a view) to save you the hard labor…
Top of the Mark
I love Top of the Mark knowing it’s a real SF institution with quintessential San Francisco charm! It first opened in 1939 and has been a long standing favorite among celebrities and dignitaries and with priceless breathtaking 360-degree views over the Bay and Golden Gate Bridge it’s easy to understand why.  It’s best to reserve a table here or you may be waiting a while during peak times, or when they have live music.

Tumblr media
Location: 19th floor of the Intercontinental hotel, 999 California Street
Contact: https://www.topofthemark.com/
Favorite cocktail: Golden Gate
Cityscape Lounge, Hilton
Cityyscape offers another breathtaking panoramic view from what’s in my opinion a modern version of Top of the Mark, with a sophisticated and less touristy ambiance. You enter through the hotel and climb 46 floors to find the upscale cocktail lounge with excellent service and delicious cocktails. And the best part, there is no need to reserve a table.
Tumblr media

Location: 46th Floor of the Hilton Hotel, 33 O’Farrell Street
Contact: http://www.cityscapesf.com/
Favorite cocktail: Blinded By Science
Charmaine’s
When the weather is particularly warm, Charmaine’s offers an excellent indoor and outdoor rooftop option. As described on their website, think ‘European terrace meets California cool’ and they’re right! The views are less dreamy than locations above but ambiance is relaxed and comfortable with outdoor fire heaters for when the sun drops. The downside is the location, it’s in a less than desirable part of the city so perhaps don’t take any visitors who are completely new to San Francisco, they will likely be a little shocked. Get there early too, the queues can build quite quickly.
Tumblr media

Location: Proper Hotel, 1100 Market Street
Contact: https://www.properhotel.com/hotels/san-francisco/eat-drink/charmaines/
Favorite cocktail: Kissin’ in the California Sun
Sens
Not quite ‘roof top’ but an excellent venue with vast outdoor and indoor seating. If you’re meeting is in the afternoon on a warm day this is a great spot, particularly with larger groups and offers a view overlooking the ferry building and Bay Bridge which is spectacular at nightfall. The food, the service and drinks menu is good – not quite excellent so perhaps don’t take a foodie but top marks for overall ambiance and location.
Tumblr media

Location: 4 Embarcadero Center
Contact: http://www.sens-sf.com/
Favorite cocktail: White Whale
Dirty Habit
Perched only 5 floors above the high-tech startup epicenter of SOMA this is a more intimate location that seems to be a bit of a secret among locals. You can easily grab a seat in the spacious outdoor heated patio area and feast on the sharing punch bowls and seasonal menu of new American cuisine. The ambiance is relaxed and sociable and in a film-noir lounge setting.

Tumblr media
Location: 12 4TH Street
Contact: http://www.dirtyhabitsf.com/
Favorite cocktail: Nectar of the Gods
I have been in SF just over 2 years and technically still a rookie with knowing the local hot spots! Feel free to reach out if you can top my list - I'm all ears.

San Francisco’s Best: Coffee Shops for Business Meetings
Let’s start with an important admission. I am not a San Francisco coffee snob. Single origin? Never had it. Baristas brewing in sciencey beakers? I don’t understand. I am so sensitive to caffeine that I can barely handle a tiny teacup of 30-second-brewed English Breakfast tea laden with milk and honey. We’re not here to judge. While I don’t hunt down the latest roasts, I do hang out with a lot of coffee drinkers. My boyfriend loves his Italian Bialetti Moka Pot, my friends own a coffee truck, and most of my team can’t function in the morning without their first cup of joe. I know how important coffee is to literally everyone but me.
I’ve always been confident in my aversion to caffeine. However, my job in recruitment relies on networking, and in San Francisco, networking and coffee go hand-in-hand. So when I was first met with an enthusiastic “let’s go for coffee!”, mild panic set in. Despite nearly a decade of living in San Francisco, I didn’t know the first thing about coffee. Trials and errors ensued and what I discovered was that there was no point impressing someone by taking them for a great coffee if we couldn’t talk business at the same time. My clients need to know that I know my way around the city, and that I appreciate their needs, and being able to direct them to a decent flat white helps. But meeting a potential client or candidate, or catching up with a colleague, in a noisy coffee bar where we can’t sit down just doesn’t work.
So, here is my tried-and-tested list of the best coffee shops in downtown San Francisco for getting down to business, so to speak. These places will impress your coffee-loving clients. The cafes I’ve included are all easily accessible by public transport, they have lots of seating, they’re quiet-ish, and most of them offer some food options as well. I’ve included non-coffee recommendations for my caffeine-sensitive buddies out there, and I’ve made sure to personally taste-test as many snacks and lunches as I can. You can thank me later.

Bluestone Lane, Front Street
227 Front Street, San Francisco, CA 94111
www.bluestonelane.com
The first west-coast location from Aussie chain Bluestone Lane is the place for a proper flat white. The space is light, the music is quiet, and the food is healthy, meaning you can really talk over an extended stay.
My caffeine-free recommendation: The turmeric-infused Golden Latte.
Blue Bottle Coffee, 2nd Street
168 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94105
www.bluebottlecoffee.com/cafes/2nd-street
The 2nd Street branch of Blue Bottle Coffee offers fast coffee and great snacks for those meetings where you need a little respite from the craziness of FiDi. Offering individual tables that can be rearranged, this is a great place for group meetings.
My caffeine-free recommendation: Hot chocolate and a sugar-battered waffle.
Philz Coffee, Front Street
1 Front Street, Annex Suite 100, San Francisco, CA 94111
San Francisco native Phil has been selling coffee in the city since the 70s. Often touted as the best coffee in San Francisco, Philz Coffee’s Front Street branch offers indoor and outdoor seating (if you can stand the cold).
www.philzcoffee.com
My caffeine-free recommendation: Mint tea.
Mazarine Coffee
720 Market Street, San Francisco, CA 94102
This French-inspired coffeehouse serves a decent food menu and is a great place for a lunch meeting. It’s very quiet and always full of people working, so you’ll be in good company.
www.mazarinecoffee.com
My caffeine-free recommendation: Lemonade.
Joe and the Juice, Montgomery Street
235 Montgomery Street, San Francisco, CA 94104
With (I’m told) surprisingly good coffee for a juice bar, this place plays great music and has a lounge area perfect for team meetings. The Montgomery Street branch also has a quiet upstairs space that is my favourite spot for having confidential conversations.
www.joejuice.com
My caffeine-free recommendation: The Pick Me Up.
Equator Coffee, 2nd Street
222 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94105
Focusing on economic and environmental sustainability, Equator is my favorite place on this list. Not only are their sustainable credentials impressive, the space in the lobby of the LinkedIn building is also impressive. It’s big and open and has community tables perfect for networking conversations.
www.equatorcoffees.com/pages/soma-1
My caffeine-free recommendation: Cherry limeade.
Don’t need coffee today? I highly recommend Samovar, a tea-haven.
Samovar, Yerba Buena Gardens
730 Howard Street, San Francisco, CA 94104
Samovar is a teahouse with an incredible food menu. Perfect for lunch meetings, and for converting coffee addicts to the simple pleasures of teatime.
www.samovartea.com/yerba-buena/
My caffeine-free recommendation: The whole menu is a coffee-free paradise, but I’d recommend the chai.

5 Things to Know Before Moving to San Francisco
San Francisco and Silicon Valley are naturally dream living destinations for people all over the world.
I too had that dream and in 2015 it became a reality when I relocated to launch a recruitment business. Four years later, and with a new wealth of experience, I often reflect on the initial year and recall the things I wish I’d known before I made the move – not things that would have changed my mind but rather help me prepare and settle in.
In a bid to pass on some seeds of wisdom, here are my top tips for anyone looking to relocate to the Bay Area.
1.     Credit is everything and everything needs Credit. When I moved from Sydney to Silicon Valley, I became painfully aware of the need for a credit score and just how much it can impact your ability to get a cell phone, car, apartment and credit card. Prior to moving to San Francisco, a friend recommended that I apply for an American Express card (because of its universal nature). After 3 months I was then able to transfer that to a local American Express and it helped build a credit score and history far more quickly.
2       Location Location LocationSelecting where you live is probably the biggest decision you will make when you relocate and your choice can have a major impact on how you view a city and how quickly you settle. Sadly, despite being the technology center of the world, public transport in and connecting San Francisco and the other Silicon Valley cities leaves a lot to be desired. The major roads in and out of the city are also often gridlocked during peak times and at weekends, so consider where your office will be based and what commute will be.
If you’re thinking about moving to San Francisco proper, the small city (7x7) has vastly contrasting neighborhoods and each have totally different vibes; from the hippy haven in Haight-Ashbury, to the rainbow crosswalks in the Castro to the immaculately maintained streets of ritzy Nob Hill. Do your research and spend time in each neighborhood to discover the right vibe for you.
3       Brace yourself for the cost.  I know, I know, it is cliched to say that San Francisco is expensive, but you don’t realize just how expensive until you move there. San Francisco will be found on any list discussing the most expensive cities in the US and even the world. With a median rent price approaching $3500 for a one-bedroom apartment, San Francisco takes it’s ‘pound of flesh’ from its residents. With a near zero unemployment rate and a subsequent talent war that has driven salaries higher than any other city in the US, San Francisco’s rental market is just as competitive, and landlords have capitalized. If your company is relocating you to the Bay Area, ensure you negotiate a San Francisco premium for your salary. Rent, transport, restaurants and bars are all more expensive than almost any other city in the US, including New York.
4       Karl the Fog. “Microclimate” was a term I was unfamiliar with before arriving in San Francisco, but I quickly became acquainted with. As the hot inland air rises the cool breeze from the pacific creates the iconic fog that locals call Karl (named after a giant who's misunderstood in the Tim Burton movie “Big Fish”) which cools down the city significantly compared to the East or South Bay. With a short Bart ride (subway) over the Bay from San Francisco to Oakland (we’re talking 5 miles over the water), you’ll often leave behind a chilly 65 degrees Fahrenheit (18 degrees Celsius) and emerge from the tunnel to a lovely 85 degrees (29 degrees Celsius).  Even the temperature in SF itself can change within minutes so always be prepared with layers to add or take off.
5       Tipping and Sales Tax.Meals and shopping will always be more expensive than the menu or price tag suggests. Sales Tax is added to the bill at the end of a meal or at the till in a shop so don’t be surprised when you’re asked to cough up more than you thought! There is also a huge tipping culture in America and for the vast majority of servers and bartenders, tips make up a substantial part of their income and in general you are expected to tip 15 – 20% of the bill. The same goes the same for hotel bell staff, beauticians, tour guides and taxi’s, etc.
Despite this, San Francisco is an incredible city to live professionally and personally. You will find more networking opportunities here than any other city in the world and people are always happy to stop and help you out. You’ll be hard pressed to find bad food and if you love the outdoors you will never grow tired of your surroundings (skiing, hiking etc), but the biggest benefit for me is the sports culture. The Warriors, Sharks, Giants, 49ers, Raiders(for now), Earthquakes, A’s….I could go on. The Bay Area is spoilt for choice where professional sports are concerned with all 4 major US sports having a presence in San Francisco. And, depending on the time of year buying tickets is relatively affordable (even by SF standards).
