The center embroidered scene worked in tan, brown, pink, indigo, light blue, and red silk threads featuring a flowering basket with heart and cross surrounded by exotic birds and animals above the maker's name and date Bridget Emma Frewen's Work Mar 7th 1857; the whole enveloped in an undulating foliate border with springing flowers.
