Hey, I get you. But remember Jorge is still here, and so is his fandom. Epic brought us together, and we have each other to keep us that way. Jorge isn't dying, is he? WYFILWMA destroyed all of us, OGs and new winions alike. But Epic is still just a concept album, and Jorge won't stop until that's fixed. So hey, get those tears out of ya. They'll do you no good when the next step comes.

I have been a part of the EPIC journey since the blue-eye filter, when Jorge was first talking EPIC as a potential idea. I have been on this journey for probably five years now, and it's main story is over. EPIC is one of the few reasons I am still here today. I found it when I was at one of my lowest points in my life and it gave me something to look forward to. EPIC gave me something to live for.

I have been unconsolably crying for HOURS and I don't know how to explain the emotions I am feeling right now to my family. I got the chance to see something grow from a potential idea to a musical masterpiece that millions of people want to listen to constantly. I got the chance to see multiple smaller artists blow up because of their talents in EPIC. I saw a group of musicians call each other family because they all found something in each other when working together.

I got the chance to see people find friends in something that started off so small, to something huge.

I got to watch it all happen. And it's over.

I am not ok.

What are the steps to creating a design for the Greek gods?

my process is usually like:

Research. Learn some of their myths, what animals and objects they are associated with, stuff like that

Picking a more specific direction. With gods that have like, 500 different domains, I obviously won't fit every single one of them on their design. So I stick with one or maybe two domains and decide on a specific aesthetic that makes sense with their myths (a lot of connecting the dots here). With Apollo for example, I chose to focus on sun themes with some minor athleticism related details.

Thinking outside the box. My main focus is for the designs to look fun and memorable, so I allow myself to go crazy with them (and be a little historically inaccurate sometimes). Like giving Poseidon tentacles or giving Hermes sunglasses and stuff

I make them hot

and they're done! :D

trans boy Telemachos is histerical to me because it means that:

A) Athena pops in in the middle of the war just to tell Odysseus (funnier if its in the middle of a battle or something)

B) Apollo enacted in the sacred sibling act of stealing forced sharing of favorite things and gave Odysseus the gift of prophecy to annoy his sister.

C) Odysseus just wakes up one morning not only knowing he has a son, but he CORRECTLY GUESSES HIS NAME.

AND no matter which one it is, they all mean Telemachos doesnt know his dad knows he is a boy. Telemachos doesnt know his dad knows his name. He mentally prepares himself for the fact that if when his father gets home he’ll call him the wrong name or may not even recognize him.

trans boy telemachos means that the first father-son conversation just goes “TELEMACHOS MY BOY!!!!” “wha- HOW DO YOU MY NAME????”
