I'm actually surprised that a good chunk of the audience is complaining about Yuen x Qian love' scene, due the flashbacks happening during it.

I thought it was a bit ill edited but I got what they were trying to do, convey all the emotional baggage and the love making being the culmination of all key events that happened in between them.

Could've been better? Absolutely, but it's nowhere near as bad as some are painting.
