They were extremely neglectful. I'm still debating on even showing it. There's a reason he's always over at Mushroom's house, and why she tends to take care of his needs. As for where they went, doesn't really matter... as of right now, they won't be making any significant return.

It's complicated. They way that those two care for each other is kind of unique and hard to put into words, so we'll just show it.

When people ask, "was it really platonic?" yes, and no. Sometimes teenagers do stupid things when they're scared. I don't recommend kissing your friend on the mouth without their permission.
