-{Nikki stumbles her way up to the roof of the building—a very long way down. They take a seat on the edge of the roof, staring down. It would be nice, wouldn’t it? To fall from that height. Or to just disappear in general. No more stress, no more worries, no more chronic guilt about everything. Star’s friends wouldn’t miss star, star’s absolutely sure of it. Xe’ve only caused them pain and suffering, why would they miss xem}-

-{She goes to stand up, but loses her footing and ends up slipping off the ledge. They can’t move, it feels like they’re falling at terminal velocity, but they can’t even move to try and soften the impact, no matter how pointless it may be}-

-{Before starting hits the ground, however, star wakes up, having fallen off of the couch and hitting star’s head on the table right next to it. Xe pick the bunny up, holding xir head and curling up on it, starting to ugly sob. Why can’t she do anything right? Why does she have to suffer for something she didn’t choose to do. It wasn’t her fault, it wasn’t. She shouldn’t be punished for it}-

Nikki get OUT of there

-{She doesn’t seem to hear you, as she walks further in. The area seems familiar, like she’s been here before}-

-{They peer into one of the rooms, and are met with the sight of a girl about 16 with long blonde hair lying on one of the hospital beds, hooked up to a heart rate monitor and IV. She seems to be severely hurt, her face nearly unrecognizable. A woman who looks nearly exactly like her, just older, sits on the couch next to the bed and sobs}-

-{Nikki stumbles backwards, tripping and nearly hitting her head on the wall behind her. She turns to look at where she almost hit, and sees a boy around the same age as the girl, in a similar state, if not better. Unlike her, he has no one sitting with him. Nikki’s face goes white as a sheet, and she starts to run. She doesn’t know where, but she has to get out of here}-

Nikki come home

-{It doesn’t seem as if Nikki is “coming home” any time soon}-

-{Star looks at star’s surroundings—a cacophony of headache inducing bright colors. Everything feels hazy and off. Xe drag xemself through this liminal purgatory. As she continues moving, the area starts to take shape, albeit, still horribly bright. They’re back in the hospital}-

-{Nikki grimaces again. Something is clearly happening in their dreams—something unpleasant, most likely}-

Stares so sadly

-{Nikki shifts again in her sleep, dropping the bunny on the ground on accident. Their face scrunches up in pain, before relaxing again}-

-{Nikki lays on her couch, unmoving. They almost look dead, with their arm hanging over the side of the couch and staring blankly up at the ceiling. Star curls in on starself, shifting to lay on star’s side and cuddle the plushie star’s holding a bit tighter. Xe seem to be holding the bunny that Orion had earlier}-

-{She looks horribly out of it. They can feel their skin burning, even as they have a fan blowing on them at full speed. Star’s body aches, the repeated and frequent possessions taking a noticeable toll on star. Xe hardly want to move, despite having not moved for at least the past twelve hours. She grips the plushie a bit tighter, closing her eyes and slipping into a restless sleep}-

-{There’s no response at first, before Orion throws the rabbit at the ground as hard as it can. It takes a second, then stands up and picks the bunny up and gently places it on the bed. Orion’s smile seems to be back}-

“Poor little guy”

-{The static on Orion’s face seems to get much more intense, gripping tightly onto the bunny like it’s going to run away from it if it even loosens its grip}-

-{Orion walks back down the hallway into Nikki’s room, looking the stuff decorating it. It’s eye is caught by stuffed animal bunny on the bed and Orion picks it up and holds it. Orion’s face softens ever so slightly as it sits down on the bed}-
