Well I am using that costume for the design obviously (if they’re just gonna give me a corrupted Hollyberry design, why wouldn’t I use it?)

But I thought it was more fun to put my own spin on it story-wise. Cause a big part of Hollyberry’s thing in episode 9 & 10 was that deep down she wanted to run away from her responsibilities, while “protector of paradise” arguably still thinks she’s doing the right thing for everyone?

So I wanted to actually somewhat selfishly make her leave everyone to their fate

Since someone on Instagram asked me about corrupted Hollyberry, I might as well post this on here too. I’m probably gonna make a short in-between chapter soon to make up for Hollyberry not being in “tea party for the fallen”, but I wanted to share my ideas first

First of all, I’m most likely getting rid of Tiger Lily cookie. Not cause I dislike her, but because I feel like she was mostly just there to make sure all those hollyberians ate those sour berries and nothing else. (Plus then they don’t have a convenient “Oh, we were actually just brainwashed” moment. You know, for more drama)

Secondly, when watching episode 9 & 10, this exchange stood out to me

Cause like, imagine. You’re immortal, after god knows how long of ruling the kingdom you’re like “I just wanna do my own thing for a while” and you leave the kingdom in the hands of someone who you consider a very competent ruler and warrior. And then the second you leave you hear “Oh yeah, the kingdom got attack by dragons and they stole your granddaughter and it’s all your fault you selfish prick”

I feel like if there one thing that kills passion, it’s feeling like you’re obligated to do something. And nothing says “I feel trapped” like knowing the kingdom will fall apart if you ever leave

So rn the plan for corrupted Hollyberry is pretty much that that, in combination with her citizens saying stuff like this…

AND being expected to take on the pain of literally every single cookie in the garden in order to leave would eventually make her go “You guys wanna stay here so bad? Fine, it’s not my problem anymore”

Im so curious to see what you'll do for corrupted hollyberry, esp since im trying to do my own version of her (different from the costume)!! If i do post any of it I'll try to avoid making it similar to your corrupt hollyberry on accident!!!

Oh you really shouldn't worry about them accidentally being similar. That's just something that's gonna happen when people write fanfics about the same character in similar situations, it's fine

Corrupted Dark Cacao AU [Mirror of the Soul page 19-21]

Well, Mystic Flour seems to be handling things pretty well /j. Anyway, that's the end of this chapter! Maybe I'll post some of my ideas for corrupted Hollyberry while I work on the next chapter

Do you think Dark Cacao looks at Cloud Haetae being the sweetest lil guy ever and thinks back to a very young Dark Choco? For the the laughs. For the humor, at that Do you think he's so apathetic to what happened he misses Dark Choco at all?

Maybe not consciously, but yeah. I do think the way he interacts with Cloud Haetae is kinda what he wishes he could have been like with Dark Choco

As for whether or not he misses Dark Choco, guess you'll just have to wait a little bit longer to find out :)

Should I uhh....be worried that WHEN Dark Cacao does lift his sword again, would he still consider Mystic Flour an enemy?

That depends on what Mystic Flour chooses to do from this point on I guess. But I think it's pretty safe to say both of them are past the point of seeing each other as just enemies

My Faputa figure finally arrived! I don't really buy a lot of non-nendoroid anime figures (I only have like 3), but Faputa is one of my favorite characters, so I had to get this one (Ozen still beats het tho, but she doesn't have any figures... T_T)
