Name: Malchior of Nol Experience, if any: I daresay, I have many years of experience! One does not make it to the rank of Archmage without dedicating themselves to the pursuit of knowledge, although being considered a prodigy among other mages also can be of help! You see, magic is a way in which the world speaks to us- perhaps it is even the language of the universe. Over my years as Archmage, I have mastered arcane secrets that few others have, and I do have a few examples. First, The Book of Nord, The Endreal Verses, The Romanomicon, and The Bursean Chronicle. More than six thousand pages of spells, charms, and incantations, although those are mostly beginner's works that I learned as a child. I have also been given the chance to master the works of O'Riordan the Strange, a powerful wizard of his era, and of course, the Galleon Scrolls, the Mornal Archives, and the Stones of Syr have yet to vanish from my memory. I am not here to simply boast my knowledge, I am here to offer it. Desired position: Archive Specialist Why are you suited for the position?: I would like to think that as Archmage of Nol, I would have a fair amount of experience with preserving and recording history. After all, it is the job of the Archmage to nurture aspiring mages- so that we may learn the ways of magic, so that we will not make the same mistakes as those who have come before us, to leave a legacy for those who will follow in our footsteps. I also have quite the hobby of reading- for a time, that was all that I could really bring myself to do. Oh, and among the great mages of my time, I have a rather ... personal bond with the nature of true magic. You could say that it makes up all that I am. An introduction: Well met, traveler, I am Malchior, Archmage of the Kingdom of Nol. I would like to consider myself a wellspring of knowledge on many subjects- and should you wish to learn more, I am more than happy to be your guide.
❝ I think your spirit is perfectly suited for a place at the archives. The past and present are crucial pieces of the future. It's our job to maintain accessibility to them, so generations after us can learn and prosper. Archmage Malchoir, I humbly welcome you aboard! ❞ — Accepted!

Name: Stanford Pines
Experience, if any: Many experiences I've been through are quite applicable to this. I've gained 12 PhDs over the years, ranging from biology, to physics, to mechanical engineering. I studied what I could, mostly things that my dimension deemed 'strange' and 'weird', before having the chance to observe the many differences in dimensions that I visited over a 30-year mission. I dedicated my life to the pursuit of such research, documenting what I could over time. While my dedications have been more to the pursuit of science and discovering the secrets of the past that way, I know my previous methodology will be useful in archival processes for the history here as well.
Desired position: Archive Specialist/Archive Technician
Why are you suited for the position?: I've worked in both cataloging everything into a series of literary journals once meant for publication as well as preserving research that detailed weirdness, magic, and more that occurred within my home dimension - and while I had no such luxury during my wormhole hopping days, I've still made it a mission to record what I could. However, I've always been an active part of acquiring such research. Being the one to be doing field research is just as important to me as being someone who helps preserve it into records.
An introduction: The name is Stanford Filbrick Pines. I've worked as a researcher for nearly forty years now, discovering new things and cataloging what I can. Though I'll be focused primarily on documentation and field research, I will be willing to answer questions to an extent.
❝ T- ...Twelve PhDs?! There's no such thing as 'overqualified' for the Annals, but... I- I'm in awe! Really! ❞ With a small laugh, Zhilan manages to pick his jaw up from the ground and smile much more normally. This is an application, thus professionalism should be maintained. ❝ To say we'd be glad to have your expertise around would be quite the understatement... Welcome aboard, Stanford! ❞ — Approved!
#he's gotta hear the stories from one academic to another gjdfjgdj#sorry for the delay!#application approved
