Intérieur romain cette salle somptueuse, décorée de stucs, marbres, fresques et peintures, doit son nom de Galerie des Empereurs à ses bustes romains. Les niches murales abritent des statues antiques, dont l'Artémis Borghèse, original grec du ive siècle av. J.-C. Cette grande sculpture de marbre de style baroque, L'Enlèvement de Proserpine, œuvre du Bernin, est sculptée entre 1621 et 1622. Le Bernin avait seulement vingt-trois ans à son achèvement.
