Welcome to a database of anthropological resources that focus on the culture, history, languages, religion, and mythology of over 330 historical civilizations, modern cultures, and religions. I compiled this list not only to provide a centralized hub of elementary resources that anyone can use to learn, but to draw attention to many lesser-known cultures.

If you are not a mental health professional or have personal experience with mental health issues please refrain from posting about mental health topics where you do not understand the definition, causes, treatments, or potential systemic issues.

If you do, then you are doing more harm than good to your community.

We get a lot of information online regarding our physical and mental health. And it’s important to share [helpful] information and personal experience for each other’s benefit. This can be an incredibly rewarding and healing process for everyone involved.

However, there is so much misguided (and plain wrong) information online regarding mental health issues. And that includes here on Tumblr. A small percentage of these posts may be malicious but many others have authors who are not out to hurt others. However, the information they share can affect a vulnerable person dealing with those issues.

Judgement, ridicule, and negating the concerns of others in reference to their mental health should never be tolerated or allowed on ANY online platform.

It’s important, as the reader, to read online information critically and, if you can, confirm it or ask questions with a mental health professional or people that you trust.

Involving others that care for you or have the educational background to help you when you are struggling will always be the best decision in the long run.

Asteroid Series: Dark Asteroids

Okay so someone asked me to explain the asteroids and THERE’S SO MANY so I’m gonna make a series! Tonight I’m looking at dark asteroids because I mean… Pluto in the 8th House, go figure. To find the asteroids in your chart, get your chart on astro.com and when in the chart selection go to the bottom and put the number into the bar given.

Lucifer (1930): As I understand it, it represents our rise and fall, the thing that boosts our ego and can simultaneously break it (and others).

Kaali (4227): This is the asteroid that involves dark rituals and involvement with the astral planes.

Nessus (7066): This asteroid represents sexual abuse but also betrayed trust, any kind of abuse and deadly jealousy.

Dejanira (157): Shows us what we are victimised by

Karma (3811): Shows us where our karma appears, what we need to work on

Orcus (90482): A dwarf planet with similarities to Pluto with more focus on spiritual corruption and redemption.
