It seems pretty clear that the promo with Jerry Lynn earlier in the show was to lay the groundwork for Orange Cassidy to step up with the Conglomeration against the BCC. His history with Wheeler and Mox basically writes that storyline for them. Even more than that, I am really looking forward to seeing OC cast in a "thrust into leadership" role.

The wrinkle in this theory is the Elite. And maybe they're not so much a wrinkle as an opportunity for the Conglomeration to fight a war on two fronts, because I loved Kyle stepping up to Okada for the Continental belt.

That being said, I think the Don Callis Family feuding with the Elite to get Fletcher the Continental belt would be amazing.

Plus, Christian is also waiting in the wings with his contract. And the Hurt Business is lurking around. And Hangman's descent into madness continues.

2025 is going to be an incredible year for AEW, I think.
