my mom: has been reading it chapter by chapter and really liked it
my dad: found the writing style a bit hard to follow, but overall loved it and is very proud of me
my godmother: really enjoyed it and was very impressed
one of my best friends: loved it; asked me to dinner to discuss the notes app review he had written about it. he's excited for more background on teddy and arden
one of my mom's friend: liked it; wanted spice between teddy and arden (sorry not sorry this sex-repulsed ace will never be writing that) and she told me to "show don't tell" more 😶
Second draft of Red Rose is officially done, and she's officially being sent out to friends and family to get some outside opinions 🫣🫣
#if you ever use the phrase 'show don't tell' to my face i will break your knees#for legal reasons this is a joke#but seriously i think it's the most useless piece of advice imho
