Bob Costas to return to NBC’s Olympic coverage on Monday night
USA TODAY: NBC confirms Bob Costas will return to primetime Olympic coverage after being off the air due to an eye infection.
Costas first revealed his eye troubles during the opening night of Olympic coverage on Thurs., Feb. 6. He hosted five nights for NBC before the infection spread to both eyes and rendered him unable to perform his hosting duties.
When Matt Lauer took over on Tuesday night, it was the first time anyone but Costas had helmed an Olympic primetime telecast on any American network since 1998. Costas had been at the NBC chair for every night of Olympic coverage since 1988.

Secret Santa part two, really curious as to who it is, but I'll see on Friday. I finished one class and two classes to go before being done with my first semester of grad school. Very bumpy ride but I think I know now what is expected of me so I don't make the same mistakes again.
