this scene breaks me in a good way... because u can see that the people who genuinely love donald and dont mind his voice (his biggest insecurity) just keep on going, dancing, smiling and letting him take over the stage. you fools are so sweet to this little duck and he loves you so dearly.

Some more 3 Caballeros headcanons~
Of the three, Panchito has the most reliable internal compass. He’s the likely one to find his way through barren lands
Jose never feels particularly pressured to work, and never sticks to one job for long. Donald teases him about it all the time. Because of his flighty tendencies, a lot of employers don’t hire him
Jose almost never lets Donald traverse Rio alone. Some places he’d rather his friend not enter, especially if it becomes known they’re friends
Panchito had never played video games before he met Joe and Don, much to their surprise. When Donald introduced him to his favorite games, he couldn’t stop playing for days, loving their concept. Unsurprisingly, shooter games are very slow and boring to him
Jose jokes that Donald can effortlessly ask any girl he wants on a date by just being his parental self. He has an endearing way of noticing children and complimenting them the way that makes parents glow (this particular HC is inspired by some of his comic characterization)
Jose will pet every cat he meets on the road
When they’re out camping in the wilderness, Panchito’s the one who keeps guard, since he’s the lightest sleeper anyway. Donald and Jose hate falling asleep and leaving him stay up alone, and fight hard to stay awake. Sometimes they win, sometimes sleep wins
Panchito’s family elders still see and treat him as a child because he looks younger than roosters his age
Senor Martinez is Panchito’s companion steed, assigned to him by his family’s patriarch when he was a chick. It’s a Quintero-Gonzalez tradition
In Brazil, urban legend has it that birds born with any purple feathers have an aptitude for natural magic. This is not a happy thing, since those chicks tend to be targeted and/or kidnapped
I’ll hopefully work some more on my 3 Caballeros oneshot tonight, so feel free to share HCs with me cos I’m in a mood.

Three Kings’ Day is a holiday I’ve come to remember in recent years. And although these three Caballeros aren’t really kings, they’re still in the holiday spirit. Oh my gosh, the colors, what did I do

DAY 31: RIPE.
…Look, there was this one time Donald had to save Daisy from a rampant wheel of cheese in Denmark and I built the scene from there. Also crossed the streams for designs, BUT. Maybe there was fancy Halloween party prep and Gladstone snagged a huge wheel of cheese as a bonus and the rest of the gang had to transport it??? As long as Scrooge doesn’t have to pay the full price for it.
What matters is I’M DONE WITH INKTOBER! YEAH!!! THanks for joining me on this month-long journey augh what happened where am I

The holidays have finally slowed down! I missed Día de los Reyes/Three Kings Day, but I finished this as soon as I could.

30: JOLT.
The moment Donald handed the wheel over to Panchito, regret immediately followed.
