As a polish fan who's been very passionate about Eurovision since last year (Ochman my beloved) seeing Jann lose to a girly who literally had connections with the jury and TVP, and who probably wouldn't win if the whole thing wasn't rigged (and they aren't even trying to hide it) just makes me depressed. He has it all: voice, charisma, character, energy, emotions and a powerful song.

I'm literally so heartbroken, I stayed up till 0.30 watching my fav polish Eurovision journalist, and even tho I was supposed to wake up at 5.40, I couldn't sleep all night. I feel like crying but I can't.

Now I'm in my very impulsive stage and I'm considering buying a ticket to Polish Eurovision Party (probably gonna do it)

This is a fanart I made of Jann before preselections, I'm still proud of it and I'm proud of him, cause the show he did yesterday is something the polish preselections concert haven't seen in YEARS. This is gonna be a tough week.

IF YOU LIKE EUROVISION, PLEASE READ THIS

This is a Polish artist Jann. His song “Gladiator” got many good reviews from Polish audience, buckmachers and people from all around the world. He was and still is the most popular candidate to represent Poland in Eurovision Song Contest 2023.

In the preselections, he got 18 000 votes from the audience. However, he did not win. In fact, the singer who won the preselections, Blanka, only got 6 000 votes from the audience, which is 3 times less than Jann.

The rules of choosing the winner were changed a little time before the end of the preselections to give the jury more power and more to say in choosing the winner. The jury is obviously biased for many reasons. Back-up dancers that Blanka performed with are actually Augustin Egurrola’s dancers - he is a known choreographer and dancer in Poland. He was also a part of jury.

The preselections were manipulated and biased, most people wanted it to be Jann to represent our country.

There is a petition for Jann to be choose for Eurovision - over 30 000 people signed it already and it has started only two days ago.

House of M drives me insane because it realistically just proved that all of Pietro's worst fears were in fact founded and regardless of all the years he and Wanda dedicated to the Avengers, it still came down to them against the world. Wanda was the twin that was friendly, approachable and sociable in a way that Pietro never was, yet the people they spent years with and considered close friends if not family were so afraid of her power that they decided she had to die. I've said it before but in the "too soft to be a villain, too selfish to be a real hero" line about Pietro, his selfishness really boils down to the fact that he knows that no one else will consider the people he loves important enough to save so he'll do whatever it takes on his own. None of Pietro's crimes have ever arisen from a desire to do harm; in fact, it's the exact opposite in a situation where he is the only one who believes the life in question is worth saving. Although Marvel often writes it in a condescending way, I don't think it's of any detriment to Wanda's independence as a character for her brother to recognise that upon the loss of her children, rather than mental manipulation and a death sentence, she needed help and support. Scarlet Witch vol.2 was dumb for pretending that Pietro's status as an overbearing, controlling sibling is not due to legitimate anxiety and trauma that dates back to even before Magneto and the Brotherhood. Pietro is inherently a protector (whose challenge is to recognise when he doesn't need to be) and whereas in a trolley problem situation most heroes are expected to choose the many over the few, he has a fundamental belief that somehow, there must be a way to save them all. He's just never been particularly successful in finding that way.
