I'm James, I'm from northern Delaware, and here is my first workout blog entry, to give me an avenue to track my progress.
Finally recovered from a carpal/cubital tunnel transposition surgery, and with herniated disc pain on the ebb, I was finally able to begin Centurion Method this week. Here I am, week 1, following the fitness test.
The results:
1.75 mile - 8 min. 26 seconds
Push ups - 40 in 41 seconds
Plank timed - 4 minutes 3 seconds
Pull ups... 4 in 1 minute. A bit disappointed... but that's what happens when you take a year off from doing such a thing. My grip strength is back for the most part, and my nerves in my left arm are, for the most part, settling into their new bases of operation.
I've had to hold off on doing The Ogre Throne, my first choice, until my new SISU arrives. So I went with The Number of Perfection instead, with pitiful results:
30 completed decline pushups
22 completed normal pushups
12 completed divebomb pushups
10 wide grip
9 close grip
..
zzzz
...I knew it'd be difficult but I'd hoped I'd do a little better.. y'know, more than dead after one round. It was enough to get my metabolism going, however, as I can already see my appetite increasing, and a little increased definition. Motivation enough to set higher goals, methinks.
