Entitlement
Never apologise for the way you feel! Your feelings are valid! And you have every right to express them. Not everyone will accept/appreciate/understand them. And that’s okay. You don’t need anyone’s approval anyway.

I love you
You know when people say “I love you” and they expect your response to be “I love you too”. Yah, I don’t get that.
1. Your expectations of me is not who I am.
2. My love for you is not contingent on your love for me. I love you because I love you not because you love me! Because that means if I stop loving you, you will stop loving me.
3. If I don’t say “I love you too” does not make me impolite! And it doesn’t mean I don’t love you either.
4. I cannot throw a word around that holds so much meaning!
5. Actions speak louder than words.

Truth
I’ll fight so hard for the truth.
I want to make the truth available to everyone.
I want to share the truth with the vulnerable.
I want to share the truth with the brokenhearted
I want to share the truth with the lost.
I want to share the truth with the children.
I’ll fight so hard for the truth.
Because the truth will set you free.

Self-worth
Know your worth babe.
You don’t have to settle for what society hands to you.
You have a heavenly father who gives the best.
And he knows you so well.
He holds you in high regard,
My darling, I know society has it’s own definition of what love is
I know society tells you how a man should treat you
Please don’t listen to society. It’s all a lie.
Society tells you:
“Cheating is acceptable because it is a reality”
“A man still loves you even though he cheats on you”
“As long as your man is responsible and looks after you; it does not matter if he cheats on you”
“As long as he respects you and hides it from you; it is fine”.
Lies. Lies. Lies.
Honey, the moment you start believing these lies or justifying them; you’ve lost your self-worth.
Ask yourself; which father/brother will freely give his daughter away to marry a man who cheats.
NO-ONE.
Do you know self-worth?
Do you know that you are so precious? And worth more than rubies?
Do you know that a man who finds a wife; finds a good thing?
Do you know how valuable you are to a household?
You deserve all the respect. Don’t settle for any less.
Please
Know your worth babe

There are some people that i’m not close to but I’ve met on several occasions and shared conversations with; whom have such pure and genuine hearts. I leave their presence feeling so good and warm inside. Damn, this is how I want to impact other people’s lives.
You don’t have to be close to everyone to make a huge impact.

I wish we practice what we preach. I wish we could rationalize things in the heat of the moment. It’s easy to philosophize things and be practical when it comes to hypothetical situations, but when it comes to real life situations, in the spare of the moment, all the love, practicality, friendships etc all get thrown out. It’s just ego that takes its place.
We all have a way in which we see ourselves. “Oo me I don’t like trouble”, “I’m a simple person”, “I care about people’s feelings more than I care about my own”, “we should all just love each other” These are all things we tell ourselves and we believe them because in part, they are actually true…
But on occasion, sometimes more often than not, that’s not necessarily what we practice. For the person who doesn’t like trouble, some situation may come up where instead of backing out of it, they find themselves walking right into it. For the person who’s sooo simple, they make their lives and the lives of others more complicated than they should(me). For the person who cares about others more…well they can be plain selfish when push comes to shove. And for the person who preaches love…sometimes that love runs out.
People in general are hard to deal with. There’s always someone who will test your core values and even if you don’t follow through on who you believe you are…its actually okay. As long as you realize that you didn’t and try to be a better you for the next time.
I don’t think people realize just how much they have to train their mind. Nothing comes easy and positivity for one is hard to find in the spare of the moment. Constant meditation on what your values are and who you are can be so essential in how you tackle your everyday challenges.
