ok so i'm a christian who experiences psychosis. not even about religion just in general. my official diagnosis is major depressive disorder with psychotic features. i take antipsychotics to help manage my symptoms.

this post is to say that some people really need to check their ableism when talking about religion. i understand that religion has done a lot (a LOT) of horrible things and that deserves to be discussed. people are allowed to be angry and shit on my religion, i literally don't care about that, christianity has done awful things. but talking about how "religion is a mental illness" (it isn't) or "all religious people are delusional" (they aren't, also why is being delusional an evil thing to you) is just very very ableist.
