Loud, confident, sarcastic, and surly, she likes to make her presence known when she enters a room. With a temper as hot as her preferred weapon of fire, and those unfamiliar with her often not knowing what might set it off, they tend to bite their tongue in her presence. There's little variance between her primary modes of scowling or grinning, and she can switch between the two on the flip of a coin, which makes her short temper that much harder to predict. Also extremely protective of innocents and unafraid to tear her enemies apart, she's a force to be reckoned with.

Fortunately, she does mellow out considerable when she unexpectedly comes into leadership of the Alliance, realizing the responsibility she held and knowing that acting like a punk teenager wouldn't make her many allies. History

Born not even a year after older brother Atten, the two grew up to develop a close bond as they were raised together.

Araa proved to be the "muscle" between the two even when they were just toddlers, breaking into things they shouldn't have while Atten figured how to do it in the first place. This trait would follow them into adulthood, with Araa taking charge of the military side of the Alliance while Atten kept it all together and acted as its face and voice of leadership.

They had a little brother born when Araa was nearly eleven, and unfortunately that age gap made it hard for either of them to connect with Anaehr. This would go on to cause issues as Anaehr got older and grew jealous of the other two; it would be Araa to get into a verbal fight with him that sent him to find work away from Odessen.

When their mother retired, though it was Atten to gain the actual title of Commander, they both knew they were equals and one couldn't perform all the work required of Commander without the other. Araa supports the decision to steer the Alliance more toward neutrality, standing loyally at her brother's side even as he's the one who ends up with the blame on his shoulders due to being the "voice" between their decisions.

Araa, as a result, works with the Alliance's military to ensure it does its work properly and doesn't find itself dragged back into Republic or Imperial conflicts. For the most part, she finds that having it aid with rebuilding efforts becomes a good use for their forces. They have it nip at opposing factions to keep them in their own spaces, watches hyperspace routes, and uses more force when necessary when the Empire, Republic, or Hutts or overreach.

Unfortunately, Araa wasn't aware of Anaehr's eventual treachery that results in the deaths of their parents until Atten's frantic comm after the fact. She wholly supports him in disowning him from Clan Cadera, and in banning him from the Alliance - though can't help but feel guilty. Maybe if they'd tried a little harder, maybe if they hadn't treated him as an outcast, then maybe Anaehr wouldn't have become... Well. She's knows it's too late to think of the "what ifs" now, but can't really help it, either.

And when the Republic and Empire both get sick of the Alliance being a thorn in their sides? Araa is the one to suggest looking for a new planet, and contacting their only remaining ally of Zakuul for any help it can spare.

And Araa, one step ahead of Atten, is the first to set foot on their new planet that the Alliance would come to call home, lightyears away from known space that would come to lose records of it for thousands of years to come.

History

Bounty hunters were sent to retrieve the family; when their parents defended themselves and a firefight broke out, Jessi grabbed her sibling and took off into the alley. When they later went back to their home, their parents and one of the hunters were dead inside.

From that point on, Jessi scrounged for scraps for the both of them while keeping them tucked away in forgotten alleyways. A few years of that passed before they encountered a Sith Pureblood bouncer, K'hedif, who offered them some food. K'hedif would continue to bring them food and changes of clothes for the next few weeks, until finally offering to pay for a hotel room for them when they were no longer timid of him.

When K'hedif left the planet, having finally saved up enough credits for a shuttle, he again gave the siblings an offer: Join him and get off Nar Shaddaa. Jeva was still young at the time, Jessi accepted the offer and they found themselves adopted by the man. He job-hopped a lot, taking the siblings with him whenever he did, until finally settling with an old spacer.

He had that job a while, before his employer was killed by Twin Suns gangsters. Jessi tucked her sibling into a closet on the ship and grabbed a spare blaster, positioning herself at the entrance to protect Jeva until K'hedif came for the two. Another spacer named Jen had stepped in just in time to save K'hedif and the siblings, and hesitantly offered a job. Jessi would later learn that it was only so she and Jeva would have a roof over their heads, and that Jen hadn't originally wanted K'hedif on his ship because he was Sith.

While Jeva was raised by the Sept crew, Jessi was hesitant to put too much trust into them and remained pretty independent despite her young age. It would take nearly three years before she even started calling Jen and Kitty her dads. When they adopted Sith apprentice Liakige onto the crew, Jessi grew fond of them pretty quickly; they were a lot closer to Jessi's age than her sibling, so when Ki became more comfortable with the crew, the two of them developed a close bond.

She'd always wanted to be like Kitty - a healer, a medic, whatever she could do - so took an interest in the Alliance as she got old enough for military. The life of a smuggler just wasn't for her. So, though she loved her family dearly, she started getting in touch with the Alliance with various questions on their military program.

With Ki at her side, Jessi decides to eventually leave the Star Hopper and join the Alliance. Jessi became a cadet training as a combat medic, while Ki began training in the newly formed Paladin Order.

Upon graduating from her training, Jessi was recruited to Inferno Squad as its medic - a new squad tasked with protecting rebuilding efforts on various planets. It was when the squad was on Taris that Jessi was mauled by a territorial nexu; it resulted in the loss of an eye. ...As well as finally earning her a military nickname that would soon become her call sign: "Nexu Bait." She was irritable with the name at first, but grew quite fond of it and would laugh about it over the years.

Inferno Squad uncovered a plot on the Commander's life purely by accident, and when Terrin decided to look at them with a little more scrutiny than she had previously, she realized she was holding the team back with their current jobs. They were tasked to train under Alliance Intelligence for a while, and became a subterfuge squad; their job became to track down traitors and various assassination and ambush plots before they could happen. It was around this time that Jessi was made the second-in-command of the squad, after the previous was removed due to not fitting with the restructuring.

Inferno Squad ended up the sole reason that, many years later, the Alliance wasn't totally wiped out when the Empire struck in an attempt to remove a thorn from its side. Had it not been for the squad, their losses would have been far greater.

Jessi readily followed when the Alliance disappeared into unknown space to avoid being wiped out completely. Though she would eventually leave the squad, she'd remain part of Odessa's security force, accompanying teams out into the wilderness as the Alliance slowly worked on building up a city...

Where Riza was often the one to get them out of sticky situations and was the primary pilot of the pair, Jeva worked with their credits and did most of the talking in social situations. Jeva was the one who urged that they work on getting their own crew so it wouldn't be just the two of them. They have a much smaller crew than their fathers before them, but it does its job. They continued Jen and Kitty's endeavor as Alliance privateers.

When the Alliance disappears to find its new home planet, it’s Riza and Jeva’s crew who continues running them supplies on their new planet as they build a civilization there, and they repeatedly scrub the coordinates from their navicomputer. They’d been close to the Commanders when they were younger, and it was that bond that would leave the crew of the Star Hopper as the only outsiders to know the fate to have befallen the infant Alliance: There one day, and then gone again in less than a generation.

It would also be their crew who would plant the clues that would one day lead the galaxy to discover the Alliance once more…

Brief History

Max was born in a poor colony, and her birth parents gave her up to Clan Tro when they couldn’t afford to feed her. She was raised by a married couple within the clan, and sees them and the two sons they also adopted as her family.

She lost her arm when she was a kid. She decided to do something stupid with her brothers, and wound up mauled by a territorial nexu pair. Veir also lost an eye and part of two head-tails in the encounter, and Nori a few fingers and some teeth when he fell and smacked his mouth against the ground defending himself (just his baby teeth, fortunately). Partially due to her clan not having the best resources, and her own stubbornness, Max didn’t receive a prosthetic for her loss. When she was older, even with the credits and offers from her girlfriend, she’s comfortable and used to living without the limb so sees no reason to replace it.

Max took joy in helping Sunii hunt for the clan’s food, and when she got older she later decided to follow Risyek into taking on a few bounties. She liked the thrill tracking something--something dangerous, something that could turn around and seriously injure or kill her if it tried--a great thrill. She started taking on her own bounties to help her small clan earn credits and gear.

Her hunts eventually led her from Hutt space, into Imperial, and finally onto Dromund Kaas. It was there that she would meet the eventual Wrath for the first time, when they discovered they were tracking the same target. Azan let Max take the Sith and went on her way, and Max figured they wouldn’t cross paths again. Her bounties led her further into Kaas City, however, and the two began meeting each other more often. Azan was the one who rolled her eyes, held out a hand, and asked max to dinner--after they took down their target of a rogue Sith, of course. Then they started dating. Max traveled with her family a lot, but always came around to visit Azan in her Kaas apartment, or starship The Executor, whenever she could find the time.

When Zakuul struck, and Mandalore made the call for her people, Max made the difficult choice of breaking up with Azan. Azan understood, and they left each other on good terms and as friends. Max just...didn’t expect to see her again. She fully expected to die in battle at her clan’s side.

She was shocked when the Alliance reached out, and Shae accepted becoming its ally--and with the Alliance, Max was reunited with Azan. They remained friends for a while, before Max suggested they try again. They’ve been together since.

Max doesn’t spend as much time with her clan these days, but still visits and helps it out whenever she can. Much to her delight, the Tro leader happily adopted Azan as one of her own people.

Now, Max fights for not only her clan, but the Alliance. She’s a trusted and high-ranking member of Alliance Security, and often a part of the Commander’s bodyguard entourage when she meets with other leaders.

Exarch of the Belsavis Star Fortress, she started from the bottom and fought every step of the way to earn where she is now.

Alongside Exarch Zotar, Forta never attended the Academy to become a Knight and instead trained at his side from retired Knights who'd actually bother to give them the time of day. She was never the most powerful of her peers, physically nor in her Force abilities, so often felt the need to go above and beyond just to prove herself to her planet. She wasn't accepted as a Knight until Zakuul began expanding its reach into the core worlds and needed more soldiers; she remained planetside, acting as law enforcement while more experienced Knights were shipped off-world.

They volunteered three times for Project: Exarch before their tryouts finally landed them a spot in the experiments - both who'd been chosen before them perished as failures. But, once again, they felt the need to prove their worth to their people, and saw no better way than to succeed, or die, to the super-soldier Project.

Her Exarch enhancements didn't provide her with extra strength, and instead allowed her to move with more speed and agility than any human - Force-sensitive or not - should ever possess. She learned to fight dirtier than her peers, using her inhuman speed to reach weak points and bending her body in ways to avoid a blow that could break anyone else's limbs had they tried it.

They was put in charge of the Fortress over Belsavis, where they proceeded to make life for the planetside prisoners even more of a hell than it already was. Prisoners, or the Condemned now living peacefully in the Belsavis wilds, would go missing as she sent patrols planetside to grab people at random. She often had them experimented on, and would occasionally take part in toying with the scientists' tools when she grew bored enough. It's unknown what they did to her prisoners when they perished, the others only know that Tarso was pretty disgusted by whatever he saw through his connection with all the Fortresses and wouldn't speak a word of it.

It was only a matter of time before her actions would get her and her Fortress targeted - and earn her brutal death at the hands of a furious ex-Jedi-turned-serial killer -assassin.

History

Ki had an average Sith upbringing: Parents who trained them, then sent them to Korriban at the first opportunity. Ki passed their trials and was apprenticed to a Lord on Dromund Kaas - that Lord had a small power base, and was often paranoid of assassination attempts and betrayal as a result. He was rigorous in Ki's training, aiming to make them more of a bodyguard than apprentice, so they learned early how to look at a situation from every angle to create the best course of action.

Their master's paranoia resulted in him sending Ki to stop a smuggling operation that he suspected was to help a rival Sith's power base. Ki arrived long before the suspected smugglers, and soon found that they'd been tailed by a bounty hunter - she'd taken a contract to collect "genuine Sith and Jedi lightsabers" and had pegged Ki as easy prey. Ki defended themself, but she blinded them with acid, took one of their weapons, and bolted when the smugglers arrived with weapons drawn.

Ki found themself on the smugglers' ship being tended to, their master assumed their failure and that they'd been killed, and over the course of the weeks Kitty tended to their injuries, Ki grew...admittedly quite fond of the crew, even if they wouldn't admit it at first. They unwittingly found themself "adopted" by none other than the Voidhound and his boyfriend "Kitty," who Ki didn't learn was actually named K'hedif until weeks later. They came to enjoy the life the crew offered them, found that being treated with respect and as an equal was refreshing, and couldn't imagine going back to the Sith Empire.

Upon creation of the Alliance, Ki remained with their crew for a while as an Alliance privateer, until the formation of the Alliance's Paladins - its Force-sensitives. Ki showed interest, and their eldest sister gave them whatever information about them that she could, so they became a Paladin student when it sounded like the position for them. They were apprenticed under Grand Paladin, and eventual member of the Circle, Xandosc Tsil.

Ki becomes part of the Alliance's security division upon graduation from student to Paladin. And, when the Alliance goes to its new planet after being chased out of their part of the galaxy, Ki follows. They're one of the few who remain in contact with the galaxy outside of their new planet of Odessa, due to their youngest siblings - Riza and Jeva - remaining smugglers and being Odessa's main source of imports.

Exarch Draya may not be the oldest of her peers, but she's always been the most clever.

She was of personal interest to Emperor Arcann going into Project: Exarch, and - though never confirmed - some say she even dueled Arcann himself during her training. Only the most daring say she won.

Cunning and intelligence paired with brute strength and brutality made for a nasty surprise to any who opposed Draya. She was an easy choice to take charge of a Fortress, and was given the option to hand-pick the Knights who would accompany her. She picked only the best forces, and was highly respected by those to serve under her.

Knight Hyra Dram served loyally at Draya's side, and Draya believed that Dram could one day also become an Exarch. Draya and Dram had known each other for many years, and had grown to love one another dearly.

Draya and Dram would often chat in the quiet of Draya's quarters, watching the stars pass by and promising each other a life of love. One day they wanted to explore the stars together.

Draya met her end upon the Alliance's coordinated strike on seven Star Fortresses. She found herself facing none other than Darth Nox and the Barsen'thor, after they had slain Dram. Draya made the mistake of taking them prisoner, they escaped, and the Barsen'thor showed his true, raw Force capabilities that she'd poorly underestimated.

Draya was all but crushed as the platform she stood on was crumpled around her, only to be unceremoniously dropped into the sun reactor of her own Fortress while still alive.

Name Origin: She was named after her grandmother (Jen's mom), Tetriza Sept, and the original owner and captain of the Star Hopper

Brief History

Riza is the youngest child of the renowned Voidhound and his husband, "Kitty" (who is, ironically, a Sith Pureblood while the Voidhound is a Cathar). She grew up close to older sibling Jeva, and from the time she could walk and talk the two were rarely far from one another. They both took interest in following their fathers' footsteps as privateers for the Alliance, and were taught from young ages how to pilot the Star Hopper.

When their parents started looking into retirement, Star Hopper was passed to Riza and Jeva so they could do with it as they'd always dreamed of. Together, they chose to continue the Voidhound's legacy as renowned privateers, and became a powerful co-captain pair.

Where Jeva was the one who was better at interacting with others and keeping track of their jobs and credits, Riza was the one who could get them out of a situation if it came down to confrontation, usually by shrouding them both with the Force, or simply outsmarting their opponent. She was also the better pilot of the pair, using her Force-sensitivity to navigate through situations most pilots would have met their end in.

When the Alliance disappears to find its new home planet, it's Riza and Jeva's crew who continues running them supplies on their new planet as they build a civilization there, and they repeatedly scrub the coordinates from their navicomputer. They'd been close to the Commanders when they were younger, and it was that bond that would leave the crew of the Star Hopper as the only outsiders to know the fate to have befallen the infant Alliance: There one day, and then gone again in less than a generation.

It would also be their crew who would plant the clues that would one day lead the galaxy to discover the Alliance once more...

History

Chakem and his twin were born on Hutta into slavery under Nem'ro. They were merely servants, cleaning the palace and tending to the Hutt's beck and call. They went by different names at the time, names picked by Nem'ro when they were infants, and names neither twin wishes to disclose to anyone because they were humiliating and objectifying. It was Chanet who made the choice to flee when Nem'ro tried to have a chain attached to her collar, dragging her terrified brother after her as the guards took shots at them.

They (or, more so Chanet) stole a shuttle that was waiting in the spaceport and took off. They more or less crash-landed on nearby Nar Shaddaa, stowed away on another ship, and found themselves on Coruscant. They quickly found their way to the undercity, where they decided to lay low for a while. It was then that they chose different names for themselves. Chakem, and Chanet - so similar, their way to remind each other that they'd always, always be there for one another. And Vira - rather, Vira'sen - was their father, who'd done his best to protect them from the worst of Nem'ro's wrath before he was killed in the beast pits.

Chanet turned to petty crime to make ends meet, while Chakem unintentionally found himself the one people went to to be patched up after he'd helped a group after a bad bar fight. Chanet's petty crime eventually turned to bounty hunting, while Chakem's patchwork brought him under the apprenticeship of a back alley surgeon. They were both still pretty young by that point, and got good at avoiding the authorities.

When the Sacking happened, Chanet made it out mostly shaken but with no major injuries. Chakem, on the other hand, found himself with the warehouse he worked out of collapsing on top of him. He lost not only a patient, but also his legs, in the collapse. From that point, it was up to Chanet to try and earn enough credits to keep them afloat, as they couldn't afford prosthetics for Chakem.

They grew irritable with each other over that time. Chakem, because he felt useless, and wanted to help, and knew his sister was struggling to feed them both, let alone keep a roof over theirs heads. Chanet, because she was exhausted and stretching herself thin and, while she felt so so guilty for it, felt angry with Chakem for being injured. She ended up stealing cheap prosthetics for him, and went on to start taking increasingly dangerous contracts.

When she killed a senator and her son, authorities finally tracked the twins down. They were sent to prison on Belsavis - it turned out Chanet had killed, or at least attempted to, more prestigious people than that, and Chakem was considered an accessory to murder. They spent years there until the breakout caused by the Empire.

When they came across the Grand Champion, they made a deal with her: Get them off the planet, and they'd help her find her target. From that point on, they were part of her crew, with Chakem its medic, and Chanet pairing up with the Champion as its muscle. They replace Skadge on the crew, and Chanet goes to kill Nem'ro with the Champion joining in.

The twins part ways come the Alliance, though remain close. It's not really Chanet's cup of tea, so she returns to bounty hunting. Chakem starts training - legitimately training - as a doctor there, and also meets Koth and (or rather, is reintroduced to) Synnda, who he forms a romantic relationship with. He and Chanet still keep in touch, holo-ing each other almost daily.
