Elaborating on this, the prophesy says the girl will find love. It mentions Queen's chariot and shows exactly what her car looked like. It predicted that Tenna would get got by the Knight. It knows about Asgore and the old man. It gets Lancer's phrases right. It talks about Jockington growing a beard. This thing is pretty detailed, so I feel like there would be some indication that "yeah, the human that's pretty much the only one able to seal fountains is working with the Knight that we mentioned fighting the heroes earlier so watch out for that."

That feels like a kind of important detail for a prophesy about the fate of the world, and no Darkner knows the prophesy better than Ralsei.

Deltarune truly is about the experience of being a traumatized teen where all the adults are fucking useless huh

- Toriel is neglectful, fails to connect with you, is an alcoholic

- Asgore is just. He doesn't interact with you, neglectful as well, uses you to get to Toriel, and is a coward (doesn't step in when Carol is being an asshole to two teens)

- Rudy probably enabled or looked away from Carol's abuse

Toby Fox really knows how to write realistic lesbian characters because he manages to perfectly capture how it feels to find something your crush finds embarrassing but you’re kinda into. Also the heart-shaped cheese scene.

I like that, even though there is a good amount of evidence that the Sans we know has always been Sans Deltarune, he’ll always be called Sans Undertale when anyone brings him up ever. Your choices don’t matter either, you can’t avoid who you once were

It’s a little funny seeing people already make wholesome fanart of the Toriel and Sans dance (nothing wrong with this btw! Art is great!) meanwhile anyone who’s had a bad experience involving a heavily intoxicated parent is rightfully viewing that whole sequence as horror

Yeah Toriel that’s so cool that you got so wasted with this stranger that you didn’t give a single shit as to where Kris was really late at night a day after your tires were slashed. Really awesome how you’re collapsing over drunk in front of Kris’s best friend, and continuing to get drunk and party on to the point where they can’t sleep the night before a huge event everyone is looking forward to. Really awesome how this stranger you brought home is also really dismissive of aforementioned best friend’s safety as well. Additionally also super awesome that the leftover pancakes you claim to be in the fridge are nowhere to be seen, instead there’s stuff the stranger brought over.

It’s no wonder Kris storms off and Susie leaves in discomfort— this behavior from Toriel is honestly really awful and I get the feeling it’s not an uncommon occurrence at all.

I just hope Toby will properly address all of this and not just entirely make Asgore the sole Dreemurr family punching bag for the rest of the story…(though I suspect he is far from innocent in this matter)
