It's such a good interview! I really enjoyed it, and I had to laugh at Jess saying that she was expecting Ann to want to leave in November and about her general lack of enthusiasm 😂 she's not going to make any friends with Chelsea fans, but I'm so thrilled to hear that she is happier now. It does sound rough at Chelsea for a bit there. It's so good to hear her specifically talk about being a person before being a player, because that's something so easily forgotten about in fandom spaces.

(Also love the idea of her ringing Ann during the Olympics like "they're all being so nice to me?? Is this normal??" 😂)

I had to laugh so hard when she said that Ann wasn't exactly the most enthusiastic person she'd ever met. That's just so un-British of her. I love it.

Will Chelsea fans hate her again for this interview? Probably, even though she didn't say anything bad, just that she wasn't happy despite constantly winning and playing and thas Gotham has the same values as her.

And what she said, that she's a person first and a footballer second, is so important. Many people only see the footballer and forget the person behind the jersey.

Even if AKB has a great Euro, Maps, Cata Coll or Hampton will certainly get the price, even if they wouldn't play well

tbf I don't actually think Gotham are ahit this year, they need to learn to score again but the last two games they lost were to absolute bangers of goals she couldn't do much about (and the Chicago stars were actually shit last year and naeher still won 😅)
