Welcome to The Weekly Wine!
Welcome to The Weekly Wine, your one-stop shop for honest wine reviews. Gone are the days of fancy terminology and confusing tasting notes, and instead you will find an honest-to-goodness wine review that is my own opinion, without any frippery.
It doesn’t matter if I like a wine or not - the review will always be honest. I’m not about to pretend I like something if I don’t, and I’m not about to bash a wine just because it’s universally panned. Here at The Weekly Wine, we taste and we don’t judge (much).
I don’t just try wines from heavy hitters in the wine world, either - the wines you’ll find here come from family-owned bodegas, up-and-coming bodegas, ancient bodegas, and much more. Where I can, I try wines from around the world and will always do my best to feature the bodega that produced them (fair’s fair, after all).
You will also find special editions of The Weekly Wine for trade fairs and wine festivals - the closest trade fair is ProWein, and after that I have a special interview with Matej Zaro, founder of the Orange Wine Festival in Slovenia!
