I.... have been utterly and unstoppably hyper fixated on Dragon Age and it's not ending any time soon.

Listen, it's been 10 years. I didn't think we would be getting a new game. Now that it's happening, all I can think about is Dragon Age and the inevitable conclusion after what we saw in Tresspasser.

Anyways, I've been yappin on my other sideblog royal-elfroots. I've been here, but I've mostly been there lol. I miss the people on this side and I'm sorry about my absence. I literally just can't stop this hyper fixation. 😭

Current Obsession: Dragon Age, if you haven't seen me, blame Dragon Age. I'm a long time fan, and the news of the new game got me down bad. As someone with a one track mind, I had to set my Baldur's Gate obsession down for a hot minute (I can't even listen to the music because it'll instantly suck me right back in lmao) to spend my free time finishing my canon run for the next game.

I wish people were a little more insane about Durge and Orin's potential fucked-up sibling relationship in BG3. I know they are only siblings in a tangential way, but cmon two murder hobos raised together in the most fucked up cult ever? Betrayal and jealousy twisting their story but then one is given their first chance at breaking free from the cult and having free will due to said betrayal? That Durge has to option to say to Orin "I won't fight you" or "They abused you and used you" and that they can break Orin's fighting spirit to the point Bhaal himself has to interfere?

Cmon where are my tragedy siblings at? Let the durge cradle her as she dies, let them hate and love her, let them feel a twisted sense of gratefulness because she is the only reason why they were allowed a chance at freedom at all but she also hurt them worse than anyone else before and being forced to kill her because of their so-called father won't allow both to live
