Remembering Kim (December 30 1948 - August 2 2006)

A personal hero of mine, Maryse Elizabeth Patricia “Kim” McLagan (Kerrigan/Moon), was not only the wife of Keith Moon and Ian McLagan, but a famous model, beautician, entrepreneur and a remarkable human being. She was extremely brave, extremely kind and a true survivor of the 1960s. Sadly Ian was planning on writing a book about Kim before his death. I hope one day we can hear more of Kim’s story. ~ Alex.

On the 23rd of November of 1968, John and Alison Entwistle appeared at a charity bazaar at the Acton County Grammar School. The bazaar was held to raise money for the school’s purchase of a mini-bus. John gave a speech as he opened the bazaar, saying: “I hope you manage to raise the money you need for your Magic mini-bus.”
