Listen, listen, I’ve recently realized that Keetongu’s my favourite character in all of Bionicle, so I built a member of his species. No name for them yet, but I really like them. I think they could’ve been better, but thanks to the goddamn Borrowers© who live in my part bins I wasn’t able to find enough pieces.

I really admire your work at AU, for me it's one of the best in Steven Universe and my question is whether from the beginning you had already planned that the fusions with Rose would have different weapons than those with Steven (even though they both have the same shield) or it's something that was thought about after a while.

I will admit that I honestly don't remember at which point I decided to change up the weapons.

I knew that I wanted to do something different with Smokey, but I think when I originally drew the Season 3 finale, I made the decision to give Rainbow a fan right there and then. It just seemed more in line with Rose and Pearl together - after all, a fan is used to create metaphorical distance (hiding behind it, secrets, etc) as well as a physical one (it's huge, and it blows people away).
