He took a moment for silence to break the tension he felt. He breathed in to breathe easier and then relaxed his rigid shoulders. He could lie to others-- but like himself, he couldn't lie to Sherlock.
He expected now that Sherlock would preach to him about finding someone, and that all this trouble would be worth it in the end, and if you truly were looking to settle down-- the right person would come along. He felt sick.

"It couldn't hurt." His voice was still coming up from muttering. In all honesty this little get together could hurt. He was an extremely envious and jealous person... it would be like sitting across from a slice of cake-- and not being able to have any.
Sherlock knew it was a lie; but as far as he was concerned, the fact that he was making the effort to lie made it none of Sherlock’s business to point it out.
—“Good. Did you perhaps want to go get some lunch or something? Sebastian’s on a business trip, so I have plenty of time to talk if you’re still interested in spending time with me.”
He understood Ian’s frustration, really he did. If the tables had been reversed, well, the designer knew himself to be childish and petty. Especially in situations such as these. It had taken him years and dozens of bad choices to get where he was.

"You are far too kind, my dear. And, you aren't so bad yourself."
"No, you’re not… You’re really not.”

"Mmm, I did intend for that to be one of the goals for the end of the night." He pulled himself close to Kevin, laying on his side with his head pressing gently into his hand. He absolutely loved it when his hair was played with, sometimes he'd even purr like a kitten.
Kevin smiled as the man crawled onto the bed. He couldn’t help himself but reach out and run his finger’s through the other’s hair. “It was a pretty good sleep…You sure tired me out.” He chuckled.

"Don't give me too much credit-- You kissed me first."
"I don’t think the way you kiss should affect me that much.”

The formerly condescending tone had melted from the heat pooling from his chest at Sherlock's words. He hated him-- no... He hated that he, unlike so many people, could see right through him.
"I am not jealous." If he couldn't admit it to himself, what made Sherlock think he'd admit it aloud? After a brief moment of silence, collecting the pieces of him that broke into protective shards into a cool exterior, he spoke again.
"Fine. I'm fine. Just as always." Ian was never fine.

—“Contrary to what you might think, jealousy does not become you.”
Sherlock’s words were cutting, not hesitating to bluntly push through the insensitive words of the other man. Just because they had been close in the past did not mean he was going to soften himself.
—“If you’re quite finished with the judgmental portion of this reunion, I’d be interested in hearing how you’re doing.”

With a nod, Ian moved away to find something to wear. As long as Teddy wanted him around. he wasn't planning on leaving-- at least not without one of his shirts. The man pulled on a t-shirt he could only imagine looked so much better on Teddy himself. It was a bit too baggy for Ian, but that's the way he liked it in the morning. After pulling on some briefs he followed out to join the other, letting his eyes wander over the place.
"Okay," He smiled over his shoulder at him, pulling on some underwear and nodding. "Sure thing. Grab anything, they’re in there-" He gestured to his wardrobe as he said it.

He couldn't help but smile at the kiss, watching Teddy as he moved around. "Anything is fine with me." His smile only widened, usually people were quick to pushing him out the door, or vice versa. "Can I wear one of your shirts?"
When Ian said that Teddy smiled, swinging his legs off the side of the bed and padding over to him, pecking him on the cheek. “I’ll sort us some breakfast, don’t worry. Fry up okay with you?”

He looked down at the mention of not having pants. "Oh yes... I'm quite the fashion queen." He teased, rocking onto his toes momentarily until he moved closer to the edge of the bed, crawling onto it closest to Kevin. "Did you sleep well, darling?"
"Good morning, hope you don't mind me borrowing your shirt.."
Kevin’s eyes slowly blinked open. “Mhhh? What? Oh yeah….’s fine.” He mumbled before his eyes recongized the man standing over him. “O-Oh…wow, it looks good on you.”

"You think so?" Ian asked, nearing the bed once again after he had pulled the shirt on. He was always far too energetic in the morning, he should have let Kevin continue sleeping.

He turned towards him a bit, reading his expression before he trapped his bottom lip between pearly whites. "Well--" He breathed, almost out of relief. "Should I make us breakfast?" He wouldn't know what to make since this wasn't his place but he was trying not to look so awkward standing there mostly nude with his trousers in his arms.
"Ah- No, in all honesty." Teddy said, sitting up a bit more and shaking his head, "Friday’s my day off, so I’m not doing anything."
