A doodle I decided to finish. I’ve been trying to find a more loose/painterly style.

While a smile is often how Cherry first greets people, she’s gone through so much. She does her best to keep it to herself, but that often turns toxic and turns into self sabotaging habits. She longs for family and love and happy endings, but believes whatever she has is short lived and will be taken from her. Sometimes she thinks the less painful option is to push that happiness away and get the hurt over with and the other is just knowing that nothing lasts and clings to what she has with everything in her small hands. She’s my little ball of emotion and I love her.

The Evermore Grimoire: Objects

The Golden Apples of Idunn only grow in Asgard and can only be picked by the goddess Idunn. The apples are what granted the Asgardians their youth, vigour, and virtual immortality. They grew on a tree in a garden on the east side of ‘Hall of Valhalla’ in Asgard. At point Loki, the trickster god kidnapped the goddess after a dispute with a giant named Thiazi. Without Idun’s apples, the gods quickly began to age and their hair turned grey. When Loki was found to be the one behind all this, he had to choose between paying with his life or bringing Idun back home to Asgard again.
