It kinda sounds like she loves you so much she just loves your shoes to death. Like if she can’t lick you she’ll lick your shoes instead? Miss Reed from the library has a cat sorta like that. Well, she’s sort of half mine, but Miss Reed takes care of her and lets her live in the library staff rooms during the day and at her and her brother’s house at night. Her name’s Cat Morgan. But anyway Morgan goes after Miss Reed and her brother Everett’s socks all the time because the socks smell like them

(Ooc: since I’m starting to blur the lines on what year I’m writing for from thread to thread and having a lot of fun with it, I keep thinking of modern things Pony would enjoy like certain books and video games, and I’m kind of thinking I might reblog some of them? Good things I’ve figured out today:

I’m starting to see my normal hair color at the roots

Eating something with a lot of water in it is way easier than remembering to drink water

Someone a few blocks down is growing cucumbers and somehow already ended up with too many (this may or may not be related to the second point)
