It's been pouring for hours. The night is even more dreary and foreboding than it normally it. Though the city has a sheen with bright lights reflecting, it's absolutely dark and miserable. Most people were sensible and staying inside, but he noticed a girl out by herself.

He quirks a brow, peering from behind soaking wet curls that stick to his faded painted face. "Kind of a rough night to be out in the city, isn't it?"

A fire roared on the rooftop. The cool, autumn breeze held a hint of rain to it. Eric's gaze simply stayed focused on the flames. It wasn't the warmth that kept him here, but the way the flames danced in the wind against the backdrop of night.

"I always loved the way any flames would caress and light Shelly's face." His voice was soft and somber. "She had a warmth to her that could rival the biggest of fires..."

Soft Angst Starters - Still Accepting

Eric barely registers that he's heard the other man's voice. He finishes pouring gasoline from a can before tossing it, passively shaking his head with a click of his tongue and an almost sad hum. "There's no stopping it now. I'm finishing what they started.... Until there's nothing left."

J has no self control.

I moved Eric off of my old ass multi and decided to give him his own space because he deserves it and for some reason the muse for him has been high and I need a break from some of my other blogs. Sooooo here I am.
