Silence Gris, 6min10. 2023.
(extrait)
Grey Silence is experimental representation of the inherent loneliness of a life. This video tries to underline the silence that fills a day; what's left ? Dead flowers, thoughts, a closed door. The absence of a loved one ?

Géométries et vivant. (Geometry and living)
Dyptich, ink on canvas, 120x90, 120x90, 2022.
I always had a curious relationship with the famous geometry of the flower of life. Drawing a flower of life at this scale is a meditative act. Bringing this geometric pattern in the real world involves precision and patience, two notion that slowly breaks downs as the drawing expend on the surface. It slowly becomes, for me, a metaphor of the unconscious complexity of our lifes, impossible to make perfectly right by pure human skills.

Video installation at Design Society, Shenzhen, China.
I’m interested into the creation of an artwork which would include multiple perspectives of a same area; Shekou port.  As my own work is usually about playing with perception, perception of ourselves, of the outside world, I’m curious about what a collective perception could create, what does reality looks like with more than two eyes ?

Is it real or just an other illusion ?
Virtual exhibition with south china museum, 2020.
During the covid19 epidemic, I had the opportunity to realize this virtual exhibition. At first, a virtual exhibition didn't seem to be to interesting to me, but as my work questions reality and it's perception, I thought it would be a good time to bring the illusion side of our perception into a space that itself doesn't exist. Here, I used some of the research I did in the past where the goal was to ask; what am I seeing? Is it real ? Is it a screen, or a photograph of pixels on my screen ? With this virtual exhibition, and even this post, we enter into the abyss of the concept of representation, what am I seeing? An image of the real world, or an other illusion ?
