I am the mother of a family consisting of 8 people. I have a little girl who is 14 years old, her name is Farah. Help her to escape from death. She suffers from kidney failure and autism. She is a person with special needs. She has a motor and mental disability. I ask you to contribute to alleviating my suffering. Have a good night’s sleep, as she does not know how to sleep. I live in Palestine. I have been living with an early awareness since her birth of the inevitability of death from this disease, accompanied by the fear of waking up to losing her and losing her life. I am Adham, married and have four children. I’m a lawyer from Gaza city.

Since the first day of the war, we have been suffering from this crazy war. We left our home without anything significant, except for the clothes we wear. We moved a lot until we reached the place we live now in Deir Al balah, in the south of the Gaza Strip, with my large family, which consists of 100 people, more than two-thirds of whom are children. Our house was bombed and completely destroyed. Today we live the struggle of life with unbearable fear and cold. I hope that my family and I can travel outside the Gaza Strip until this massacre ends.

I ask you to help my family in the Gaza Strip so that they can secure their daily needs after they leave our home in northern Gaza to southern Gaza. I have a big family, consisting of my father, mother, five brothers and six sisters, all of whom are married and have children. They’re 62 people.

I say this as a black immigrant from a third world dictatorial country that has faced genocide and is actively facing ethnic cleansing, stop tokenizing people’s traumas and oppression.

these are actual people facing traumas that you cannot begin to conceptualize, stop using their existence and/or deaths as morality tokens on the internet. it’s becoming less about the literal genocides taking place in various countries and more about morality competition.

posting/using people’s deaths as a talking point is disingenuous. stop weaponizing the traumas of the oppressed to feel morally superior than strangers on the internet, these are actual human beings, are not talking points.

the interest check has only received 20 responses as of last night 😓 it received more when i posted a poll version on my main blog, numbers that would have made creating a zine feasible enough . but as it stands, i can't see enough interest for this right now .. i'd really really like to create this zine and allow people to show their cultures to the world, but if there's very little interest then i don't want anyone to drag their feet during the creation process, y'know ?
