Terry Crews came out and admitted he had been sexually assulted by someone in the film industry, and is now being blacklisted. I have been a fan of his since Idiocracy, and will continue to support all of his work.
So when you wonder why people don’t come forward with their assults, this is why.

SIGNAL BOOST. Ella is another form of emergency contraception/the morning-after pill. It’s more effective than Plan B and can be taken up to FIVE DAYS after your mishap, rather than three days. Please spread this around; with all of the anti-choice legislation flying about and how difficult it can be for some people to get Plan B even OTC (like minors, people living in small towns, etc.), this might be the only way a lot of people can get their hands on the morning-after pill.

Disability benefits should be the equivalent of a full time job on living wage. Things don’t cost less because you’re disabled - in fact you often have additional costs of living. You shouldn’t be forced into poverty because you are disabled.

I also really do prefer how in the UK, newspapers can just state their political affiliations instead of having to pretend that all of their reporting is neutral. The Guardian is open about being center-left, Financial Times is open about being right-liberal, and so on. It’s so much better because you can go into it knowing ahead of time “alright, this is the news, but it will have a bit of this spin to it,” while in the US, we all have to pretend that The Washington Post isn’t clearly a paper for moderate Democrats and The Wall Street Journal isn’t clearly a paper for Republicans.
