as a follow up to this post i checked the GA wiki characters section (maybe not the most thorough search but whatevs) and here are my findings for potential givers:
probably were a giver anyway:
Kuro - surely a giver
Wing - probably the twins user because surely they’re jinkis ans not just tiny
Too Lily - i mean cmon she’s gotta be
Could’ve been a giver, couldve not been:
Granny Stilza - grandma to two cleaners so not a shocker
Hyo - Zanka’s rival works either as a giver or not
Zanka’s siblings - makes sense for strong people to be givers but odd considering the hell’s guard’s lack of givers
Notably covered eyes:
Mymo - could be linked to kuro in some way
Meriege - could be a follo type but being subtle about it
August - first potential non giver on this post??? what is he hiding???

i’ve hit the picture limit for this post but freaking Gnomulas Ridd the mayor of canvas town has no eye shine so i don’t know what to say about that but like sure ok
i would like to add something onto the gachiakuta eye shine theory
looking at old panels we see someone who doesn’t have an eye shine and that man is
MY GLORIOUS KING REGTO!!!!!!
could the gloves have previously been his vital instrument so rudo couldn’t claim them until after regto died?????
(also i checked similar panels of gris to make sure it wasn’t just a lack of detail thing and also checked chiwa to make sure it wasn’t a potential spherite’s being shut down by the watch man thing)
