Plane girls demo out for Tabletop Sim!
I figured out how to upload this for people to try so you don't even need a printer for this game! If you like my plane girls and wondered what they were supposed to be for, here's a very early look.

I've been resource gathering for YEARS so now I am going to share my dragons hoard
Floorplanner. Design and furnish a house for you to use for having a consistent background in your comic or anything! Free, you need an account, easy to use, and you can save multiple houses.
Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.
Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.
Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.
SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.
SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.
Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.
Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.
Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.
Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.
Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.

you know it's almost unfair how good the soundtrack to Nikke is, I've been having a bunch of those "here's a scene with my OCs based on a cool song I heard" and it's because the jiggly ass machine gun game crossed over with Re:Zero

This week I got to screwing around in Vroid and managed to create a model I don't hate, so I've been using it on the last few streams and just wanted to kind of mildly gush about it.
I've wanted to do it for a while because I usually had some piece of recent artwork and eventually an animated PNG placed in the corner of the screen, but kind of wanted to do something more eye catching or dynamic. It was kind of hard to justify dropping a pile of cash on the stream though since I've been at it for years and pretty much only have single digit viewers unless I'm guesting on another channel, so finding a cheap and easy alternative was really nice. I'm working on editing some assets into my 'intended' outfit but since I've been on staycation this week, the Hawaiian shirt felt apropos and is kind of within my color range, too.
Like, it's been a while since I've been this excited about streaming and I've been sort of conditioned against outright self promotion, so I just wanted to get into it somewhere. Maybe once I'm more used to it and get my outfit finished I'll do a proper 'debut' stream but it feels kind of dumb since I'm not fully rebranding or anything like that and I'm already playing with the model.
Recommend Vroid heartily to anyone interested in getting an easy in, with the caveat it's really easy to edit models and textures but it really doesn't do body types past 'skinny teen' unless you got crazy with making a bunch of skintone 'accessories' to pad yourself out. (I usually draw myself with a wider chin and stubble and all the models are pointy chinned and the facial hair is about as convincing as a Mihoyo background character.) You can edit a lot of things within the program and export the textures as PNG files to hand draw details in, which is what I'm currently doing with my coat and plan to do to tweak the face into closer to my drawing style. Getting the model working was super easy with the use of VSeeFace, which can import the files directly or link to your pixiv/vroid hub account. (I prefer to keep my stuff locally as much as possible, so going through Hub is kind of an extra step for me but it's good to know it's backed up I guess.)
