I’m happy to share that I have already started a new position as President of the IETE Students Forum - BITSathy.  Here we plan and organize technical programs and activities, such as special lectures, workshops, seminars, symposia, exhibitions, etc for the benefit of student members on a regular basis.

I got a chance to interact with D. Karthikeyan, IAS, Principal Secretary to Government, Department of Higher Education. I presented the projects that I am working on and got a lot of inspiration and encouragement from him. #projects #inspiration

This is a wonderful home automation system done with my colleagues a long time ago in B.E's First year. We designed this system termed “Object detection based electrical appliances controlling system” that turns off the light, fan, and different essential appliances when the person moves out of the room. One step further, it was also customized to automatically turn on the same electrical devices when the person enters the room. The system has an optional camera unit that helps to find the profile of each individual. This optional unit facilitates the system to manipulate the electrical appliances according to the individual’s desire. A supplementary mobile application is in sync with this profile-based system that enables the individual to adjust the states of the appliances for separate rooms. This IoT-based appliance controlling system would be a great solution to conserve energy at homes, schools, and corporate amenities. Our country can save millions of Rupees by lowering the electricity produced each year. Regulated fossil fuel burning could also contribute to stopping climatic changes. However, this could help energy conservation organizations to make the goal of rendering electricity to every rural area on Earth.

I can't believe I got a chance to interact with Padma Shri Dr. Sridhar Vembu, CEO of Zoho Corporation, and Mr.D. Vijay Mohan, Founder of Pricol limited. It's really inspiring to meet such brilliant minds. We discussed my ongoing projects in the BIT Special labs. Thanks to BITSathy for giving me this opportunity.

I met Mr. Shanmugam Sivaraman, Former Vice chairman of SAE India Southern Section and Director of Design Desk (India) Pvt. Ltd yesterday. I and my team got his guidance to work on our new project of developing a Flight Controller for Drones. We got an idea of how a control engineer should think in order to solve complex engineering problems.

We have won the "Best Virtual presentation & Team Participation Award" in the REEV 2022 Virtuals Event held on 9th April. We nailed the presentation and got what deserved as a result of our teamwork. Looking forward to the manufacturing dynamics round of the event.

We have successfully completed the virtual presentation of our vehicle design in the SAE REEV Virtual 2022 event conducted on 9th April 2022. As the manager of the Electrical team, I virtually demonstrated the electrical systems design of our vehicle. The judging panel was rich in technical people working in top automotive industries in India.

Today we simulated our hybrid electric design for the event REEV 2022 with the IPG car maker tool. It's such a fantastic learning experience to work with #Perseverance_motors for the past 6 mos. Heading towards our virtual project review this weekend.

I sincerely thank Bannari Amman Institute of Technology for their felicitations to my recent achievement in the project competition. The institution is really helping young engineers to make their dreams come true.

I individually designed and developed a smart irrigation system for agricultural application during my 9th grade (school days). This is the exact moment when I started loving engineering 💗⚙️
