MTurk Part 3
I made it to 100. It was not fun. The surveys were so long and I ended up getting an average of 33 cents per survey.
I was hoping that getting to 100 would give more opportunities to make more money per survey, or do more interesting tasks. But it didn't happen. I definitely do not recommend this to make any sort of money. Most higher paying tasks require 1000 completed tasks and qualifications that also require 1000 completed tasks. It just takes so long to get there and in the meantime you're wasting time.

Losing Weight With Beat Saber
I have two challenges when it comes to losing weight. First, I hate exercise, I can't stand being uncomfortable, it makes me itchy, and it's super boring. Second, I have pretty severe depression which makes it hard to eat healthy foods. Just getting three meals is an accomplishment and there are times when only very specific foods sound at all appetizing. So just "eating healthier" involves more than I'm prepared to do at this time.
This made me think of the only time I have ever both sweat and had a good time which is playing beat saber. I feel like since it causes me to sweat it counts as exercise. I really don't think it will work but for the next month I am going to play an hour of beat saber 5 days a week and see what happens at the end of the month. Or actually June 12th because I'm starting today. And no, you don't get to know how much I weight right now.
Slight addendum: I am also trying to switch from regular Coke to Coke Zero and if I'm successful that will cut a bunch of calories. But I am very pessimistic about this happening and if it does I will be updating this project.

Data Annotation Tech
Oops?
This is one website that while I was using it was completely legit. After first getting approved I was able to work on projects that paid between $18 and $25 per hour and I did get the money sent to my account every week. It was a great way to make money on a flexible schedule. People with expertise in science and math can make even more.
However! I have pretty severe depression which is why I was looking for something that I could work at when I was mentally able. This caused me to not really able to do anything for months. When I felt better and logged in there were no projects and no qualifications which there always were before so I knew something was up. Logging in a few more times over a few more weeks with no change led me to the conclusion that not doing any work for a few months caused them to disqualify me.
Which ok, I kind of get it, even if the whole point of this site is that it's flexible to your schedule. The problem is that they didn't give any warning. There were no emails telling me that I would be cut off if I didn't keep working. Even now it doesn't tell me what happened, I just have a blank projects page. There also isn't an email provided to ask questions, when you click on support nothing happens. That's just a shitty way to treat people who are working for you. Especially this kind of work where the company definitely comes out on top because they don't have to give benefits or anything and everyone who does work for them are soooo grateful. The subreddit is full of people worshipping them.
So, definitely try it out if you're looking for something flexible. It pays a real amount of money, unlike the survey websites. I'm just kind of bitter about it. Take your time with the qualifications and do your absolute best in order to get the best tasks.

MTurk Part 2
Prediction: This will not be worth it. I'm 25 surveys in and I've made $10 so about 40 cents each, and considering some of the surveys are like 20 minutes it's so not worth it. Also about half of the surveys I'll start and then they'll decide I'm not qualified for the survey so it's a complete waste of time. I'm still determined to get through to 100 to see if anything changes.

Mturk
Most lists of easy side hustles include Mturk which is an Amazon site that lets people complete tasks that other people offer. The problem is that the pay offered is miniscule. I just took a 20 minute survey and earned one dollar.
Another problem is that it asks to look at ALOT of your data. Even not counting that you have to put in all of your personal data when filling out surveys, most tasks require you to have extensions installed that can view your browsing history.
There are some HITs (Human Intelligence Tasks which honestly just sounds so dystopian and very in line with something Amazon runs) that pay more but you have to have done at least 100 super long surveys for very very little money before you qualify.
Overall I don't think this is a viable way to make any kind of real money but I will continue until I reach over 100 HITs and see if anything changes. Look out for part 2.
Update: It's been an hour and so far I only qualified for 2 surveys. And that is after answering about 5 minutes worth of questions. This makes getting to 100+ HITs a lot harder. I really think I would never recommend this.

Write a Book
Ok, I think I'm going to have to leave this list for a bit. Writing a book isn't an easy side hustle, it's incredibly difficult. Unless you're talking about those shitty AI novels that no one actually wants to read.
But I will push through. First I'm going to try and write an actual book. Second I'm going to search out some ways to make this "easy".

Going Off Topic
Why are the images of the pins never accurate. I've clicked on so many and even the ones that are close are still off. Why say 27 jobs for introverts when you're going to list 45? It's so easy to just say 45. And that's one of the most accurate ones.

Start a Blog
Easiest one, I already did. But I guess this is talking about "money making blogs" so I guess I'm going to start ANOTHER blog.
The worst part of these lists is as soon as you click on the link for instructions there are just more and more lists. Click on "how to make a money making blog" and you soon get to 31 ways to make money on your blog. What I'm getting from this is lists are important when making money on the internet.
It is recommended to use wordpress to set up my blog and when I did I was asked to pay for premium plans at least 4 times. Which makes sense because why make all of these lists if you're not making money off of them. I think this will be an ongoing theme.
I set up a new blog about crocheting because it is my main skill. I can't say if this method works because even they admit it takes at least 3 to 6 months to gain enough traffic to start making money so I guess I'll update in 3 to 6 months?
Did this work?
In the short term, no. This isn't a viable way to make money anytime soon.

Easy Side Hustles
If you start a new account on any form of social media a lot of the default posts that you get are about easy ways to make money online. I started a new Pinterest account and despite being completely interested in arts and crafts several pins suggested were about this. Being an extreme introvert the most tempting was "27 high paying side jobs for introverts". Now I've been on the internet long enough to know that 99% of these are either bullshit or some kind of drop shipping, but there is that 1%. So with this blog I will be trying out all of the crazy suggestions I get to see if any of them actually work.
