it is definitely getting harder to tell on first glance but ai is still easy to spot with inspection:

the first two things i noticed in this

post were irregularities and petal shape and similarity (with small differences) in composition

irregularities in petal shape:

same but not but same same composition that comes from the use of adjacent “seeds” with generation:

both of these are probably technically possible in a real photo so the next step was to zoom in and see if we have the artifacts of inconsistent textures and dropped details. in fact we do. the ai is rendering the “glass” petals in both a frosted and smooth way

and not all of the filaments are rendered between the anthers and the flower.

be careful out there and pray with me for the degradation of the image models the way the text models are doing

Verdict: it’s AI. Zoom in on the places circled in red. Remember that if it looks a little off, feels a little dodgy, the writing is nonsense, or the different elements of the picture are weirdly transparent and blending into each other, it’s probably AI.
