Shayla and Samuel : The Origin.

The chronicle started with an odd similarity between the siblings, Samuel and Shayla. They are three years apart and have different preferences. Until one day, they discovered that both of them are into thriller movies and true crime cases to the point it becomes an obsession.

And their interest has led them to an escape room business named Thisse Hill. They wanted to make their fantasies become reality by choosing a horror theme, hoping it would challenge people to visit their booth. But, they expected too much because, as it turned out, the early reviews were unpleasant. Some said the attraction was dull and didn't even cause the fear to rise.

After a long discussion, decorations were the main problem, thus the need to change them. They thought a real ornament would be more terrifying and gaining them singlehandedly would be more adventurous.

“We have to kill everyone and put them inside, so their souls stay and it will scare the others.”

Without any arguments, the siblings then did the killing spree. They kidnapped and murdered people like nothing, the blood staining the walls were left just like it is, and the only things which got arranged were only the skulls that had the count increased higher each week. Thisse Hill then is crowded with haunting souls which craved an escape.

It apparently brought them joy and shaped a spooky ambiance around the hill.

One day Shayla and Samuel lured a group of friends into Thisse Hill and ended up locking those people. Shayla and Samuel begin killing one person per night slowly, increasing the horror to the others as if they’re waiting for their turn.

But, a surprise was given to both of them. A boy, hopelessly, approached the siblings and begged for his life. He was either smart with the tactics or careless because the deal would be made with a serial killer, but he tried. He couldn't bear the smell of dried blood and the gawk of skulls which were like terrors to his days, and he didn't want to be one.

“Maybe.. if you have an extra hand to help you out, Thisse Hill will be a great place,” he said while his lips trembled hard. Samuel and Shayla exchanged looks as it was the first time someone requested so, but they agreed to the idea.

“Sure. You will do anything right? 𝘈𝘯𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨?”

The boy nodded in despair and Shayla extended a hand.

“Sure. What is your name?”

“Elliot.”

And from that time, Elliot became a part of Thisse Hill, helping the psychopathic siblings run a death game. Deep inside, he plotted a way to escape, he knew the time would come soon or later.

But on the other hand, Samuel and Shayla had defined the “𝘐 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘥𝘰 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨” differently. Because the life of a person isn't something they cherish.

What Happened to Elliot?

As the game went to the further level, strange things began happening. The first dread that was discovered by the guests is the absence of Elliot despite his important role in the game. But, Shayla and Samuel didn't really see through it and that act influenced the guests to just continue walking around Thisse Hill to finish the game.

Each day was like a haunting nightmare that was brimmed with obscure haze and a mystery waiting to be unfolded. Moreover, after the guests reached some miles, they were greeted by a stack of dusty skulls.

They appeared to be too realistic to be just a decoration, but nothing was revealed because no clues were given on said spot. Unfortunately, after they left the skulls without any detailed notices, odd voices followed their stride.

“Leave. Leave or you won't come home safe.” The whispers echoed to the sky and felt like caressing their ears, blowing a sense of fear. Since the guests heard the exact same threat, they collectively assumed the skulls were the one doing so.

“Who are they? How did they die?” Their minds went all over the place as the voices rang in their heads, but as they proceeded to go deeper, they stumbled upon papers scattered here and there.

They thought it was from Elliot, that he hid to show them some tricks, and ended up giving them clues to escape out of Thisse Hill. But things didn't turn out that way…

The more they read, the more the fright arose. The papers stated that, apparently, Elliot was never a part of Thisse Hill. Samuel and Shayla kidnapped him. Elliot had to help them run Thisse Hill if he wanted to stay alive. Samuel and Shayla basically left the him no choice.

When their eyes were focused on the paper, the voices echoed one more time, loudly.

“Leave. Leave or you will be Elliot and us.”

They connected the dots and realized that they could be the next victims. The skulls were the people murdered by Samuel and Shayla which explained the careless behavior before. They should have known that Thisse Hill wasn't a mere game because of the dead trace earlier.

Thrills inside the guests increased rapidly as they messily looked for a gate to escape. They need to escape with Elliot. But they know, Shayla and Samuel are watching their every moves.

The End of Thisse Hill.

After days gathering supplies and weapons with worries written on their faces, the guests managed to escape the horror of Thisse Hill, running for their lives with a sigh of relief.

It was a hell of a ride, but Shayla and Samuel were finally defeated. When the guests reached the gate, they called the police and spread the news to the town. That the siblings were evils haunting for innocent people for the sake of their greedy mind, that there were more than 100 real human skulls inside, used as decorations and to enliven the frightening atmosphere.

They also called the police who arrived shortly, wanting the crime to be solved because it had a lot of victims. It soon became big news and a talk of the town. A small escape room that once was quiet and wasn't intriguing apparently held mysteries behind.

The dreadful tragedy was about to be put at an end, yet, just when everyone was about to celebrate their victory, one of the police came and told them to stay alert since the main purpose hasn't been achieved yet. It wasn't as easy as they thought.

“We can’t find Shayla and Samuel, unfortunately. Our best assumption is they escaped before we arrived here.”

People shouldn't have underestimated them two. They had hidden Thisse Hill for years and it needed a brilliant strategy to do so. And then, although their name and face had been known by the public, and all the police in the country are looking for them, their whereabouts remains unknown until this date.

Elliot, the victim who sacrificed himself to help them, swore that he will never rest until he can find Shayla and Samuel.

Samuel and Shayla are able to change their identity, completely coming as a whole new persona. But, what is scarier is, they may be preparing something more evil than Thisse Hill.
