Did you know that goldfish become friends with their own reflections?
"so how's it going dawg"
"how's it going dawg" did you know that if you put a goldfish in a bowl to live, it burns to death in its own ammonia? did you know that if you put a goldfish in a bowl to live, it will know that it is alone? did you know that if you put a goldfish in a bowl to live, it will watch your eyes and know that you will live in a tomorrow without it? did you know that if you put a goldfish in a bowl to die, its memory could have lasted longer than its life? did you know that what you read about three seconds was a lie? did you know that a goldfish needs love to survive? did you know that three goldfish are called a troubling? is one just something troublesome? did you know that a goldfish never dreams? that even when it dies, it will never close its eyes? if you put a goldfish in a bowl to live, even in its last breath it will stare beyond the glass. And stomach melting with nowhere to rest, it will watch worlds of color you will never see.

Y'all I was looking thru gq magazine and it was genuinely pissing me off. Like they r clearly trying to understand gen z fashion trends but they r missing so hard. U can tell who wrote it and it's a bunch of old rich men. Like how tf r u going to put ads for Dior or Gucci or Prada or any other luxury brand next to an article on “how to win at thrifting” when they clearly do not know. You look at the picture and it's just a bunch of white dudes in tan pants and button-ups. Really breaking new grounds. Their big statement of the photo was one dude was wearing a hat that had flowers. I am bored by the outfits. The photo isn't even good. Clearly the studio lights were too bright and with all of them being white and wearing tan on a beige background it was severely unflattering. In this section one of the big pieces of advice is to skip the tee shirts. I have found some of my favorite t-shirts at thrift stores. Their other piece of advice was that if something is missing buttons or is slightly too big just get it tailored. Most people I know don't go get it tailored they sew it up themselves. Or don't buy it. Or wear it even if it does have flaws. Because a lot of people who are shopping at the thrift store are going there because it's cheap and there are cool things. But I personally would love to spend hundreds of dollars on a cool pair of pants or a nice suit but I can't. Because that's not accessible to your average Joe. Yet it's the people they are selling to by having the whole back cover be an ad for Louis Vuitton. It just makes it feel like these people are cosplaying poverty. And don't even get me started on what they did with denim in this magazine. Gaudy.

Prince Philip is actually alive and is pissed that he was never in the line of succession so he is slowly killing off the entire royal family until they eventually make him king.

There are so few non-asian poc in manga it's wild. I was reshelving the manga section a while back and noticed the lack of diversity. I know that Japan has a lot of racism but it was a whole wall of manga and there were maybe 3 black people and no other non-Asian poc. In two of the mangas, the black people seemed like the villains, and in the other one, it was just fetish content and the black person was lightskin with straight hair. Sidenote who's even buying the really smutty manga at a brick-and-mortar bookstore? Like I would never have the confidence.

Israel bet that the long-term war would produce this terrible silence, consent to genocide, and getting used to the scene... and frankly, they succeeded in that.
I don't know what the end of all this is, the whole world has let them down and is watching their starvation and displacement
PLEASE DON'T STOP TALKING ABOUT GAZA

I have been yelling this for a while now. Zionists will say "oh well we dont show our dead bodies because we respect them unlike hamas". The dead bodies arent the only thing we are seeing from Gaza honey, we also see the destroyed buildings, how israhell has leveled down most of Gaza, yet we dont see the same from israel. Where are your destroyed buildings huh? You cannot possibly say that you dont show them cause you respect them also 💀
Then zionists will turn around and say "if you want I can show you all the dead israelis" like??? So do you respect the dead or not?

Israel had shut off water and electricity from Gaza 110 days ago. One hundred and ten days ago. Most of us would literally not survive this long without clean water and electricity. Look around you right now and tell me how many things in your vicinity depend on electricity. Are you able to imagine a life without uninterrupted access to water? I still remember the old lady who was interviewed in a tent who said "the question you should be asking me is how long ago was the last time I showered".
To know that millions of people have their literal life spans, their movement, their access to water, when they can eat, what and how much they can eat, when and how often they can shower, how and where they sleep - to have it all be controlled and dictated for them while also, simultaneously, the mere idea of providing them with aid is "out of everyone's hands"?
There are fucking miles of aid trucks, filled with essentials, that are stopped right outside of Gaza at the Rafah border, while people inside of Gaza are freezing and starving and dreaming of clean water to drink. How does this not infuriate you?
Fuck Israel and every nation that enables and emboldens it.

Targeting children in conflict zones represents a grave war crime, blatantly violating fundamental tenets of international humanitarian law, including the Geneva Conventions and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.

Sometimes I remember that there’s a massive beef in the paleontological community between Jack Horner and Robert Bakker and it’s so big that when they both worked as advisers on the Jurassic Park films, Spielberg made 2 characters based on them and had a T. rex eat Bakker’s character as a favour to Horner.
